  2. I just wanted to let you all know that I have picked up my flex this morning. Have a happy new year.
  3. Got a message last night that my flex is comming in and that I can pick it up Thursday morning. I still a bit skeptical if it will actually arrive. I will keep you all posted.

  5. I would say that is good starting point for the lack of information and frustration and that is even as good as your dealer is. I dont think Ford gets we are not dealing with the Ford Focus the 1K deposit is not that much cash that I would not walk away. That is also assuming you would be unable to get your deposit back as no small claims court in the world would not rule that Ford breached there contract.
  6. Thank goodness in Canada you get either the deal in market at the time of order or the deal at the time of arrival which ever is better.
  7. This %100 true and none of us are debating that. What is really bothering us is the lack of information that we are getting. We have been waiting for upwards of 3 months and Ford has not said one word all we know is that the cars are not getting shipped. Personally if they told me yes we found an issue and yes we are taking care of it so it wont cost us more down the road I would say great take all the time you need I will call you again in a few weeks for an update. Instead they are feeding the dealers a story in turn are feeding the customer a story and it is immensley frustrating. Personaly if I get some information on the delay I will wait but come the second week Jan and no new information I will probably walk.
  8. My model does not have the boost engine so I don't think it's that. It must be the AWD system! What chould be so wrong with it that they are holding it now after 18 months of selling it. At least when we do get are cars hopefully they will be fixed.
  9. if there is a stop shipping order why have some people recieved there cars who placed there orderd well in excess of ours? Does anyone have an opinion why some cars might be shipped when others are just sitting in a parking lot? Snap did you get any good info from your dealer in the end? Happy holidays!
  10. From the small bit of information I have got out of my dealer recently she believes there might be some sort of QC issue with all the 4x4. I think Ford might be evaluating how to handle the situation but has not come to any conclusions. My reall question is if they are on stop ship order from Oakville why in the world are the pushing the product so hard with %0 they should stop taking orders and refund all the deposits paid for the past orders. At a minimum they should at least come clean with people who have been waiting upwards of 3 months. I even saw one poster who has been waiting for 5 months I mean that is crazy. I wont hold my breath that we will get any answers before the new year but to all of those people in the same sitaution as me I wish you a happy holidays and good luck. I am only going to give them the first week of Jan then I walk......
  11. Is there anything we can do besides walk away? My wife is really set on this car so I would love to get it to her but I am not about to let ford take advantage. We purchased the car so my wife would not have to walk the kids in the cold. If personaly think if it is still delayed later then the first week of Jan with no reall communication on what's happening I will probably walk right over to Toyota. Please let me know if you gain any headway and I will do the same.
  12. Something is not adding up with the info I am getting. Maybe it's in quality control because there is an issue they are dealing with. I hope if that was the case they would be able to tell me but I won't count on it. Maybe someone who actualy works for Ford will comment? Personaly after close to 3 months of waiting I getting to the point that I am ready to walk away.
  13. Actually yes I did get the remote start and it was an issue however me dealer told me the remote star was in 2 weeks ago and the car is litteraly sitting in a parking lot in oakville. No explanation why they can't get the car to Toronto as I am only 40 minutes by car. He told me that the plant shut down for Christmas and will reopen 1 week of Jan.
  14. Mine was build on the 24 of nov. My dealer called me on Thursday and said my car won't arrive until Jan at a minimum. Really is super frustrating
  15. I just wanted to make one place to try and get Flex tracking. If anyone might be able to provide people with tracking info it would be greatly appreciated as it seems the Flex fans have been waiting a long time.   16. So my truck still has not arrived and my dealer is having trouble tracking down any info on it. I guess the only option is to just sit tight and hope it work out. Keep your spirits up!!
  17. I am having the same issue. I orderd on October 1 and still have not recieved any eta on delivery. The only info I have gotten is that there is some sort of delay with the remote start install. I am suppose to be getting more info on Monday so if I hear anything back I will keep you posted.
