I took my 2011 f350 in today for an oil change, Tire rotation, def refill and computer update after about an hour I went to speak with service tech to see how much longer they would be and I was informed that it would be about 10 min. Well 1/2 hr later they informed me they had a computer glitch! turns out while downloading this power update the software from ford fried my computer. Now computer is on backorder and wont be here until monday WTF is the problem with getting a computer why doesnt ford have these sitting on a shelve ready to ship out where can I find one sooner? Other than this problem I love the truck tons of power great features smooth ride 2011 f-350 super cab 4x4 lariat

Waloud, Thanks for the update but why is it that my truck has been build since 3/15 and dealer still says it's sitting in storage collecting dust somewhere in KTP thats been the story for 6 weeks what gives? You say it takes six weeks for vehicles to hit lots is that after there built? Thanks for your imput!

Go for the 3.31 you will get better mpg and if need be while towing the 2011 trucks let you lockout any gear you dont want the transmission to use IE if you lock out the top gear you will have the lower gear ratio you need for towing.
