  1. just wondering if anyone has tried to wirelessly link a zune mp3 player to sync? we just ordered our 2010 fusion sel v6 and my daughter was asking if it will work as both are microsoft products
  2. i think you answered my question, all the features of sync work thru the radio if you don't have the nav. i'm sticking with the mid level stereo (6 cd with usb) as the base unit doesn't have usb and the sony 12 speaker ($800 cdn funds) requires purchase of the 6 cd/usb unit ($400) as well. hope it sounds reasonably well.
  3. wondering if the nav option is worth the cash outlay - 2100 + 800 for the sony 12 speaker sound system (comes as a pair) in canadian prices. apparently the travel link doesn't work in canada and the 10 gig hd storage can easily be replaced by a memory stick. don't get me wrong, i've test driven a nav equiped fusion and it is a very slick unit but i'm finding it hard to justify the pricing. aside from the obvious, how is the usability of sync affected in a non nav car? thanks in advance
  4. I am in the process of ordering my new Fusion and am getting no help with the paint selections with the sport appearance pkg. In the online Ford build and price website if I select the sport appearance pkg it automatically selects 'paint table: secondary w/ 14x' and unselects 'paint table: primary w/ SEL. Does anyone know what these choices refer to?
  5. thanks for the feedback, to make my decision more 'real life' can anyone post mileage at fill up and gallons used. thanks again.
  6. As a new member i would like to say you guys have a great forum. I have definitely decided to purchase a new 2010 Fusion SEL but am unsure as to whether it be a 2.5 I4 or 3.0 V6. Aside from the obvious differences of fuel savings vs extra power, can anyone comment on real world experiences between the two powertrains? I test drove both and found the 2.5 more than sufficient with acceleration but noisier than the 3.0. The 3.0 seemed silky smooth and very quiet with awesome power. Also of concern is fuel economy, as a highway commuter in rush hour traffic i'm aware of the posted mileage ratings but these are usually better than real life. Also, I would like to compare the predicted durability ie. the I4 working harder to produce same results as the V6. Sorry for the long winded post but would appreciate any input.
