  1. Thanks again. Enjoy your vacation. I'll bump in a couple of weeks once you're back.
  2. CB8002 / F004 Bump. Last one before holidays. My dealer gave me 1FTFW1CF2BKD29594 as the VIN, but also told me he believes that production has been bumped...yet again to 02/28. My sticker doesn't come up, so that may be right. Who would have thought that I'd have my fingers crossed for delivery six months after the order? Enjoy your holidays.
  3. The trucks sound pretty similar, but I'm guessing yours is a 4X4. Maybe 4X2 is one of the things slowing me down. Mine's an FX2 SCrew w/ 6.5' box and Luxury pkg. Best scenario is that I got the wrong VIN from my dealer and everything's a go. In the Vehicle Tracking Forum, Cyberdman told me that I was scheduled for the 14th, but I believe I've been pushed back to the 28th for some reason. I'll ask for an update on Friday.
  4. I ordered mine Sept 18. I'm told it's scheduled to build this week, but I still can't bring up the window sticker. I didn't order the EB because it was listed as "Late Availability" and I needed my truck ASAP...guess that didn't work out. So my experience will be 6-8 months. I hope yours is better.

  6. January 4??? I ordered September 18 and my truck's scheduled this week. See my thread in the "Vehicle Tracking by Ford Employees" forum here. It's not your dealer. It's Ford. This new line rollout has been a total joke. As far as the sticker goes, mine's not available online yet either. I hear a nasty rumor that production has been pushed back yet again. As I said, I'm scheduled this week, but I'm not holding my breath.
  7. I'm looking for some clarification of the Max Tow package. It seems to me that it's not all that much different from the "Tow Package". I'll quote from the CDN brochure, but I'd have to assume the US version is the same. I've ordered a 2011 FX2 that's scheduled to build next week. The FX2 is "equipped with all XLT features plus:" a long list including "Trailer Tow Package" The list of XLT options includes "Trailer Tow Package (required for towing over 2,268kg [5,000 lbs])-Includes Class IV trailer hitch receiver; 7-pin wiring harness; upgraded radiator; auxiliary transmission oil cooler; and 6-speed Select Shift Automatic Transmission" The list of FX2 options includes "Max Trailer Tow Package-Includes Class IV trailer receiver hitch; 7-pin wiring harness; upgraded radiator; auxiliary transmission oil cooler; trailer brake controller; upgraded rear bumper; 6-speed Select Shift Automatic Transmission; and manual trailer tow mirrors with power/heated glass, integrated turn signal indicators and security approach lamps" Almost everything here is already included as standard on the FX2. I've ordered the brake controller, too. Does this mean that the only difference between Tow and Max Tow on my truck is the upgraded bumper and the mirrors (and of course the EB)? I don't see anything that would give greater load capacity on "Max Tow" over "Tow". It's even more confusing when you consider that the towing numbers are down from last year's 5.4 which had lower HP and TQ numbers. There seems to be a lot of discussion that the Max Tow is only available with the EB. If what I'm seeing is correct, then why the uproar? Are there other upgrades (e.g. upgraded springs…) included in the max tow that aren't mentioned in the brochure? Also in the chart listing maximum trailer weight ratings, there is a footnote for some of the numbers that says "Requires Max Trailer Tow package". Is there a separate list showing towing capacity with "Tow" vs. "Max Tow"?
  8. Not until the truck is scheduled for production. You can post your info in the "Vehicle Locator" forum, (under Ford Employee's Forum), and get updates on your truck if you're curious.
  9. WooHoo!!! Is there a VIN yet? Thanks CyberDman...you made my day.
  10. CB8002 / F004 Bump Last weekly...promise. If nothing this time, I'll leave it for two weeks.
  11. CB8002 / F004 Bump I believe that KCAP is supposed to be scheduling SCrews as of Feb 1. Maybe mine...maybe?
  12. CB8002 / F004 Bump...this is getting a little silly now. Thanks Cyberdman. As always, your time is appreciated.
  13. I just got back from my dealer on a mission to get more info on my ordered truck. It's been listed as "unscheduled/clean" since October 7. Today my dealer showed me a page from an internal dealers-only site that showed that all KCAP-specific trucks would not be scheduled at least until February. This includes FX2s(mine), King Ranches and more. Is there either a dealer or someone who knows a dealer that can post this info for all to see? This page was dated late December. What's the record for the longest wait for an ordered vehicle? I know I ordered before production even started, but this is ridiculous. The EcoBoost was always listed as late availability, but there will be EB trucks delivered before my 5L FX2 is built. I'm grateful to my dealer for being straight up with me, but it looks like I'll be waiting at least 5 months!
  14. Yup...still waiting. Unscheduled since Oct 7. I'm visiting my dealer tomorrow to look for some answers.
  15. Thanks for the info. Time for a trip to the dealer.
  16. CB8002 / F004 Re-bump as per Cyberdman's request Welcome back, we missed you :D
  17. Weekly bump #1 for 2011 CB8002 / F004 Welcome back Cyberdman...
  18. With Job 2 seemingly confirmed to start in the new year, does that mean that all trucks built after the start of the year will be Job 2 models? I'm still waiting for my FX2 SCrew to be scheduled. I'd love to have the Job 2 rumored stronger axle. If this is true, are there any other differences in the works?
  19. Congrats on the new truck, but this may be the wrong forum for your question. Cyberdman is a Ford employee who tracks vehicles through the build and ship process for buyers waiting for new vehicles. There may be someone else here who can help...good luck.
  20. Good luck for a December delivery. Keep us up to date.
  21. That's true. I should have said "No More SCrews from KCAP 'til Next Year". As far as I know, DTP will still be producing them assuming they get the PCM issue ironed out.
