  1. Are you talking about the fender flares added to the outside rim of the wheel opening for appearance, or the plastic/rubber fender lining sealing off the engine compartment and protecting the inside of the fenders?
  2. Is the FX2 new this year? I searched the dealers in NE and Central Ohio just out of curiousity, and I only found ONE FX2 out of hundreds of new F150's. I found probably a couple dozen FX4's.
  3. You're right. Based on the other comment about a difference between US vs CA methods, you can reduce them. US says 3.7 is 16/23. Convert the CA numbers down to that and then using the same scale convert the others down. The 3.5 goes down to approximately14/21mpg.
  4. According to those numbers and this sites conversions (http://pege.org/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/founder/error404.pl?dir__path=pege&file=/fuel/convert.htm) that would be close to 17mpg city and over 24mpg highway.
  5. That's probably figuring gas prices of today. Add $1 or $2 per gallon for future years (or months) and it might make your decision easier.
  6. Can someone explain the ROV program? How does it work and what are the advantadges of it? Thanks.
  7. Wow those are some strong numbers. Diesel-like torque performance with regular gas prices. It makes more sense as to why Ford is moving away from the small diesel ideas. If they use this same technology in a smaller engine they could still get get decent HP and TQ (similar to our old V-6 engines) with fantastic fuel economy for a light truck.
  8. Page 4 of the new order guide shows 36 gallon tanks standard on all 4x4 models, and 26 gallon tanks standard on all 4x2 models.
