Thanks all. I figured it would be hopeless, but I thought I would at least double-check with everyone. I will just suffer with the unsightly antenna after my free subscription lapses.

Hi all- I'm new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2010 Mariner premier, which has the standard roof-mounted Sirius antenna above the passenger's-side front seat. I really don't like how this antenna looks and would like it removed. I'm not interested in keeping the Sirius radio. My question is, if I were to pry this antenna off (carefully, of course), is there a wire running to it from the car? Or is it transmitting wirelessly? I don't want to mess with the antenna if pulling it off will leave a hole in the roof. Thanks!
