  1. I agree with this guy's take on the exterior. It looks pretty much flawless now.
  2. I found the exterior design extremely compelling, essentially flawless. Ford avoided any mistakes, and the “nose” of the car looks elegant and fresh. The main objective of the interior was to catch up to the RAM 1500 and add various nifty features. It looks like Ford succeeded. Exterior design: Flawless This is often the first and most important step to a redesign of an existing product such as the Ford F-150. In this case, really the only thing people will notice is the face of the car - straight from the front and in profile -- and that "little thing" is of crucial importance. In my opinion, Ford hit a home run with the new face of the F-150: It looks flawless. If the 2021 F-150 story stopped right there, it may be enough to declare the whole operation a victory. Interior design: Catching up to RAM 1500 This is the area where Ford had its greatest challenge with the 2021 F-150, and we all know why: RAM 1500. The RAM came out in March 2018 and is universally considered the leader in interior design, by a wide margin. Everyone expected Ford to close the gap with the 2021 F-150, for all the obvious and necessary reasons. So, the bar was high. How did it do? The answer is slightly inconclusive for the simple reason that I have not yet had the opportunity to examine the F-150 interior in person. We have to rely on photos here, as well as this seemingly exclusive in-person video, from Kelley Blue Book (was supposed to be Roman ?): 2021 Ford F-150 | First Look Link: https://seekingalpha.com/article/4355907-2021-ford-fminus-150-looks-like-huge-winner
  3. Roman admits to acting unprofessional in the TFL 2021 F-150 reveal video last night...
  4. Look near the same in that they are both F150s and pickup trucks. From the front at least they are totally different
  5. Look at the two XLT fronts I posted. It is completely different.
  6. Notice the KBB guy with the F-150 prototype present. This could have been Roman.
  7. "F-150 introduces an all-new 12-inch center screen – standard on XLT high series and above – that allows customers to split the screen and control multiple functions simultaneously, including navigation, music or truck features. The landscape design strikes a balance between demands for technology accessibility and the greater convenience of physical buttons. An 8-inch touch screen, standard on XL and XLT standard and mid-series trucks, means every customer gets touch screen functionality and better rearview camera vision. Both screens feature access to the new digital owner’s manual, which can help all customers find the information they need more easily, including how-to videos for additional explanation." "All-new SYNC 4 is standard..." https://media.ford.com/content/fordmedia/fna/us/en/news/2020/06/25/built-for-getting-things-done-ford-f150.html Even the bottom feeder stripper editions sold to fleets and cheapskates gets you an 8" Screen with Sync 4. Woo!!!
  8. 2021 XLT Sport vs 2020 XLT Sport. Sure as hec the two do not look anything alike.
  9. From the latest comments: sundevilkdaddy6 minutes ago Roman was coming in hot on some of his takes. insomnia_exe8 minutes ago lmao roman has been cracking me up lately, maybe time to retire ??? it’s comedy at this point, i look forward to it cody50519 minutes ago Pay for leaks and get caught, now Roman acts like a toddler. So much for being objective you clowns. Rhy Dynamic17 minutes ago lol Roman is just saying negative, negative, negative. While the son is just positive, positive, positive. Which this truck is. What else can you find negative about the truck Roman? The side mirrors looking like 2018 Explorer mirrors? The Search Engine3 hours ago Son says something neat, dad bashes Ford?funny the first 7 times but a half hour lol we get it....you like, need a hug man? 29 REPLY Roman is still butthurt. He has to move on.
  10. TFL is back! "For Roman and Tommy’s hot take on the 2021 Ford F-150, check out the video below and be sure to leave your comments for us." Also an article: https://www.tfltruck.com/2020/06/2021-ford-f-150-revealed-everything-you-need-to-know-news/ But I noticed a couple errors in the written article, maybe because they didn't get the press materials early? PS He says Ford still doesn't like them. PPS Roman sounds a little grumpy.
  11. Even on the base XL bottom feeder edition? Wow. I just got home and need to study up on it.
  12. Same here. Surprised they changed so much of the body. "The new truck features a redesigned exterior that Ford describes as a "bolder" and "tougher." Changes include a raised front fender, a tucked-in mid-section and larger tires that are pulled out three-quarters of an inch. The truck's headlamp design has been updated, and it has a new power-dome hood and wraparound bumpers. Eleven different grille options are available across the lineup."
  13. Michael Martinez ✔@MikeMartinez_AN New: @denisleary will help @Ford reveal the next-generation F-150 via livestream Thursday night. I spoke with the longtime voice of Ford trucks about the new product & filming amid a pandemic: https://www.autonews.com/marketing/ford-taps-pitchman-denis-leary-f-150-virtual-reveal …
  14. "other outlets did it too" I did a Google News search for Bronco and "7 speed" sorting by date and the TFLCar article was posted 2 weeks ago. About a week later a minor blog linked to the TFLCar story without posting the pics, and Auto Week posted one pic - with a half dozen disclaimers that this was TFL's picture. Also the Bronco discussion board reposted them. So the pictures were mainly not touched by other outlets. What is arrogant and stupid is TFL did this right before Ford was to arrive with the F-150 prototype at their location. Ford should send it to Mr. Truck instead. He's the only one who really knows about trucks anyway.
  15. laj.tuxmek said: Hi Tommy, Let me start out by saying that I really enjoy the content that you guys put out. As someone who was born and raised in Colorado, I love seeing vehicles being tested on roads and trails that I grew up enjoying. I now work as an engineer for Ford in Michigan, which I love. I plan on buying a Bronco at some point, so I've been lurking on these forums for a while. I decided to join recently with the talk of pineapple pizza stickers haha. Anyways, I wanted speak up with some information that I heard today. In a town hall meeting, several employees asked why TFL had been uninvited from the reveals. It was mentioned that you guys have a large audience and focus a lot on off-roading, so it seemed like uninviting you guys could be a poor choice. We were told that you were asked to remove the photos and video, but refused to do so. Is that true? If so, I think Ford has every right to uninvite you guys if you refused to take down the photos after being asked nicely. Additionally, we were told that you have been given special privileges from Ford in the past, including use of Ford's Arizona Proving Grounds, early media access to the 2020 Super Duty, etc. They felt that this was a breach of trust after establishing a good relationship with you guys. Sorry everyone, that was a really long-winded first post. Hahaha BroncoBoy22 said: This makes a lot of sense!! Again I’m obviously looking at it from the outside. But this is precisely why I wasn’t jumping on the defend TFL bandwagon. Maybe there was a miscommunication in asking for the removal of the video? Who knows at this point. But sounds like there’s more to the story.
  16. Roman said nobody warned them. This is very misleading. They all know they have to follow embargoes as they followed them before. So what did they expect? Roman is coming off as an arse with the tape on his mouth and trying to get subscribers fighting eachother because of their mistake. People with websites come and go. People aren't going to watch their videos if the best selling truck is missing. He should have just apologized to Ford. .
  17. How is it childish? If you want to see childish look at the TFL response video. What does TFL usually being fair have to do with it? If PUTC was still up and running I don't think Mark Williams would post it. TFL lacks common sense if they still think this ok. The Truth Site that usually posts fake news would have posted it no doubt but they have also been banned.
  18. How is Ford's conduct childish here? TFL was invited to the product reveal and got greedy or wasn't thinking and posted the pics before the reveal. TFL should be ashamed of themselves instead of trying to shame Ford. It is unfair to Ford and unfair to all the other sites who waited. If Ford in response made a bratty video mocking TFL and posted a tweet with black tape over the TFL logo and then banned them for life and said no more TFL then that would be childish, pathetic and obnoxious. Writing them a letter univiting them was what they had to do. Roman and Andre should rethink what they are doing. They don't always have to be first on everything.
  19. I don't believe it was from a camoed mule that they found running around in the wild in Colorado. The article says they were emailed pictures from an "anonymous" source and they posted them. I can't find the post so it appears they deleted it. If it was just a mule in the wild they wouldn't have deleted the pics and nobody would have a problem.
  20. Did Jalopnik ever get it back? Roman is whining about the money he spent on the F-250 and this is the thanks he gets - even got his press fleet access pulled. Well, Roman, think about the money Ford spent on the Bronco and all the support they give your little channel and this is the thanks Ford gets.
  21. Roman Mica throws a hissy fit, says no more Ford. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKArVyWb3OM
