Yesterday, on my test drive of an F-150 XLT 5.0 4x4 5.5bed, I noticed "touchy" brakes from the initial slight foot to brake pressure- that is, slight pressure from the initial pressing of the brake stopped the truck immediatley then there was what I describe as a few more inches as I pressed downward of mushy feel.
When I queried the salesman dude said thats the ABS fluid cyling. Really? how was I engaging the ABs?
My DD is a 1996 FSBronco whose braking is not the same. Maybe I was used to the Bronco brakes and this F-150 is an advance in brake technology that I did not comprehend due to the 16 years of Brnko driving
What's going on here?
