Oh... well that's less than useful. There's usually a color or two that changes; hoping to see 2018 soon. Time to trade in my 2011, and color might make the difference between Edge & MKX for me if there's a new one I really like! Thanks for the clarification.

Picked up my Edge Thursday afternoon, and I'm back to say THANK YOU AGAIN for the tracking help!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this car...
! Following it along in the process made it ever so much more bearable. It was a short 4 weeks & 2 days from order to delivery; not sure how some of the others with months of wait-time make it.

It was in Kirby yesterday?? Yay!! That's only a 4-hour drive from here. Wonder if it's coming the rest of the way via truck? Getting close! Thanks SO much for the continued updates... makes my wait quite bearable!!

Also, are the navigation maps updateable since it is on an SD card? Can you also insert your own POI's?

Interestingly, it says the maps are updated quarterly for the Sync system, but doesn't say a darn thing about MyTouch. I have a feeling the SD-card map updates will be pricey, just as they are on other navigation systems.

It is if you live in deep south Texas! I am SO looking forward to using this thing on the string of 100-degrees-plus months we call summer. My first thought is popping the gate as I'm walking to the car to let the hot air out... remote start & get that air-conditioning running....
Gah. Need my Edge to hurry up & get here, so I can play with it!! :D

I had the $100 figure in my head as well but didn't want to post it as I wasn't 100% sure either. Hopefully someone who knows for sure will chime in.
I heard that as well... $100 more if issued after the first year/12,000 miles. Can't say for sure though, and hope someone in the know posts, as I'll want to take that info into account as well!

Good info! Thanks! Sounds like the response issue on the touch screen isn't nearly as bad as some are making it sound then.
I'm wondering if some of the screens are more sensitive than others? Some people say they have to press *very* hard to get theirs to respond. If they have a wide quality-issue like that, here's to hoping mine is one of the 'light touch' variety! :D (on order... wasting time online while I wait it out)

I've seen a couple of 2011's on the road recently. They really stand out in a good way.. One was Kona Blue SEL, the other a Silver Limited. Both looked great.

Im new to the forum and I just wanted to let everyone know about 3 weeks ago I purchased my 2011 Ford Edge Limited Edition black on Black, I cannot wait to take delivery.
Congrats!! I'm in almost the same boat... ordered 2 weeks ago, and playing the waiting game. I also go the Limited; mine is in ingot silver with stone interior. Added the Nav, Driver Entry & BLIS, but no BAMR or upgraded wheels for me. Can't wait to get it!!

I an ordered a 2011 vehicle with MyLincoln Touch, from everything I've seen in videos, you can enter destinations by voice, including by address or POI.
Can anyone confirm this?
I know you can with MyFord... pretty sure it's the same with MyLincoln.
They should have it set up so that if a passenger is sitting in the seat, navigation (typing) entry is possible. No, they don't KNOW it's not the driver, but at some point you have to rely on drivers not being stupid, ya know?

After a little more googling, it seems that "My Ford Direct" refers to used cars... looks like this is a warranty for used cars.

...anyone have a clue what this is? In the fine-print, it says:
5 Program #71846: Ford Extended Service Plan. Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 1/3/2011. See dealer for residency restrictions and complete details.
Does anyone know if this $265 off when purchasing an a new Edge & extended service plan? Or is $265 the cost of an extended service plan if you buy a new Edge? Or... something else entirely? Wondering what PMP (Gas) means?
