Just picked up my 2013 Titanium and I've only driven it 10 km so far but... :banvictory: I'm in the process of getting everything setup and I noticed that the IA fobs look identical to those from my Edge so it got me to thinking that if I could program the Focus to recognize one of the Edge fobs then we'd have 4 keys that work on both vehicles and would only have to carry a single key around with us. The manual says I have to go back to the dealership to get additional keys programmed but seeing as how they want over $100 to put on snow tires that were all ready mounted and balanced, I'd rather not have to go back to get gouged for anything not warranty related. Does anybody have the procedure for the Focus? I was hoping that it was similar to the process for the Edge but there are enough differences with the operation of the "Start" button (no accessory mode) and the door locks (single button vs separate lock/unlock functions) between the two vehicles that I couldn't get the process to work with the Focus. Any help appreciated. Thanks

  3. That's the right dealer, but it seems very strange that they are delaying delivery to me. I would have thought they would have wanted it off the lot as soon as practical. I guess I need to go have a chat with them this morning. Thanks, I'll post a pic when I get my hands on it.

Montasyar is only about 125 miles away and I was really hoping that it wouldn't take 8 days to go that short distance but the salesperson told me on Saturday that it's not here yet.   8. I would have jumped at the opportunity for factory delivery. I've been on tours of the Romeo engine plant a few times but have never been to a vehicle assembly plant. As to the logistics, I'm sure the people at Ford are smart enough to sort out those details, others have.
  9. Mine spent more than a week after it was released to the transport company before it got loaded on the truck for the 5 hr run to my dealership. In my case it was built on Feb 8 and received it Feb 18

  11. No one is likely going to provide you with tracking information on your 1st post in this forum. You need to participate in the forums for a while and then once you have more than 10 posts you can request that your VIN be tracked in the tracking forum according to the rules posted there as a sticky at the top of that forum.

  13. Hi Cyberdman, No more updates required. It arrived at the dealership late Thursday night/early Friday morning and I picked it up yesterday. :happy feet: After the 1st 100 km everything is looking great. Many thanks for your efforts in providing me with timely and accurate updates on where it was in the process. I'll post a picture here as soon as the weather clears and I can get it cleaned up again. In the meantime :beerchug: as we can't do it in person.
  14. Thanks for the update, At least I now know that it is on a truck. My issue is I can't seem to get any information from them. They gave me the VIN and a rough estimate about a month ago and I have been unable to even get a response from them this week. You remain the only consistent source of status information about the delivery process for me and a good number of Ford customers. I apologise if you feel I was wasting your time as it was not my intent. The service you provide is a real benefit to people like me and is very much appreciated.
