  1. Xplan pricing is for the car only. If you believe it is for more then go to partner.ford.com and look up the price of your other items. You won't really find them there. What the dealer might have done for you is given you the same xplan discount - roughly 6 % or whatever it figures out to be on those other items, but issue is that all add on's have a TON of dealer mark up in them and they negotiate them all the time. So while it is maybe a nice gesture and you are happy with that discount being extended then you win, but that dealer will also negotiate much deeper discounts on those add on items if you push him and he will still make money.

How do you log in? Do you use your X-plan Pin?

    Thanks!

  2. Two have arrived at my dealer. One is for sale (base with sunroof), and the other is loaded with the big sunroof. The salesman said that Lincoln required that it be held for loaner duty for 6 months.

I drove the base model. I have a nice Audi A6 with more power, so The MKZ felt a tad weak, but I drove it gently and didn't give it much throttle. I really liked the base seats. I didn't go for much of a drive. The turning radius was tight. I'd like to test drive a Hybrid.

    Overall, I was quite impressed.

  3. An older sister, McKenSie, is wanting to marry. She's not too picky and her parents are anxious to have her out of the house as she's getting a little long in the tooth. The caterer is available for the wedding!

Won't you take her out for a date? She's almost as smart as her sister and I just know she'd be loyal. She's got more room for your junk in her trunk. Your friends may not be envious, but I'll bet you'd be a happy man.

  4. My friend that was looking to buy a new car, went ahead and purchased a Cadillac ATS. If you don't have the cars on the lot, many people won't order or wait.

I am in no hurry, but I keep driving by the dealership or checking here. If it weren't for this forum, I wouldn't know anything.

  5. I can see the MKZ versus the ATS. I just don't think that a BMW owner would consider a Lincoln. I think at this point it's an aspirational goal that the MKZ will compete with the Germans.

I have a friend with a Cadillac considering a new ATS. I'm not sure that Lincoln is even on the radar. I'd go with him to the Lincoln dealer, but I don't see any MKZs yet.

We're all Ford fans, we may be a bit biased.

  6. I am a long time fan of Lincoln and Ford, but have been driving mostly imports for the past 20 years. I would like to buy a large sedan. The MKS is a nice car, but I don't find it particularly appealing.

I currently have a 2012 Audi A6, and have had zero problems. I am trying to justify buying a new Lincoln. A MKZ Hybrid would offer me better mileage. I did own a Fusion Hybrid, and liked it.

I am also considering a Flex or a MKT. A MKT would offer more room, and make a great trip car, but the MKT seems to be unpopular.

I picked up the MKZ brochure, but haven't seen one in person. I obtained an X-plan pin number (stockholder).

I am hoping for someone to give me a positive push in ordering a MKZ.

Any thoughts? Why did you order the MKZ without a test drive?
