  1. I wonder if Lincoln would let me order a Black Label with the 20" wheels.
  2. I have been reading and viewing a lot of reviews on the Navigator and the comments regarding ride quality are all over the board. Some reviews praise how smooth the ride is and others complain about how bumps and rough roads make the ride unsettled and too rough. I would be purchasing a Back Label and therefore I believe default into having to take the 22 inch wheels. I'm interested to hear what actual owners think about the ride quality of the Navigator and how it compares to other similar vehicles you have owned or cross-shopped prior to purchasing the Navigator. Thanks to all who can shed some light on ride quality.
  3. I really love the MKT (Ecoboost) and was ready to buy,,, but. I test drove two different Ecoboost's and both had noticeable trouble (for me) with bumps in the road. When I was on smooth roads or highways the MKT was amazingly quite and comfortable. When I was on side streets every bump was felt right through the seat in a way that seemed out of character with respect to the luxury ride I was experiencing on smooth roads. Is this the nature of the MKT, are you going to really feel bumps in the road most of the time? Ken
  4. Thanks for the info, that is good to know. I'm in Jersey just across the bridge from Philly and we've been getting a lot snow. I'm going to post a new message on this, but while I have you on-the-line, can you let me know how bumpy the MKT ride is? I've taken two test drives (in different MKT ecoboosts) and in both cases the potholes and rough roads were felt more than I thought for such a quite and comfortable car. Ken
  5. Can anyone who has driven the MKT in snowy conditions comment on how it handles and what amount of snow it is capable of driving through?
  6. Thanks for the info. My zip is 08108. I'm not familiar with the X plan, can you tell me what that is and how do I use it?
  7. After doing a fair amount of research I’m ready to buy an ecoboost MKT, pending my first test drive which I’m looking forward to and expect will be a delight. I have two questions I hope people here can help me with. I live in Southern New Jersey and searched the internet for available cars at dealers within 50 and 100 miles. It appears there are dozens of 2010 models available and far fewer 2011. Do you think because of this I could get a good deal on a 2010 and how much below sticker should I shoot for? I’m going to get a model with most of the options. In the past we had a problem buying a first year model car, it was the original Volkswagen Toureg. We loved the Toureg but it was constantly in the shop for warranty work. A number of people told us you should never buy a first year model car because they always have problems that get worked out during in the 2nd year model and beyond. Are there any known issues with the 2010 that have been fixed with the 2011? Finally, does the 2011 have any options or changes from the 2010 model? Will I be missing anything if I get a 2010 instead of a 2011? That’s actually 3 questions, I snuck the last one in. Thanks in advance for any and all advice you have for me. Ken
