Thanks for the insight. After further research the ford service website says not to tow until you have put 500 miles on the vehicle.

I just ordered a F-250 SRW 6.2L and was wondering what the average break-in period is. I have always thought you should wait till your truck has 2000 miles on it before towing, But my dealer said there is no recommended break-in from ford. He told me drive it how you normally would, just don't use the cruise control for the first 500 miles. I am pretty couscous with these things... Anyone else heard different?
