  1. In the company I work for, I am the only one who owns a Ford car (a fusion, perfect quality and made by non-union Mexico workers). Yesterday, one of my colleagues said that he will buy a Explorer if Ford would replace those Union people with whatever people. I guess the "fix or repair daily" was the best reputation of UAW's quality. Ford's qualilty has been improved a lot, but that refers to Fusion and Fiesta. It has nothing to do with you-- UAW workers. You still make junk. Ford just recalled million of F-150. Shame. Toyota and Hyundai hired many scabs. Those scabs are proudly producing the best quality car and truck in this planet. If you still believe that you are a Human being created by God. Then relate your value with the quality of your product, not your greedy. Alan Mulaly deserve billions dollar, because there is only Alan Mulaly in this planet. You do not deserve your greedy because there are 6 billion people who can perfectly replace you.

Just as someone else stated in this thread, we have earned the right to a raise and restoration of our concessions. The guilt put on us for demanding them is bullshit. It is not called a signing bonus, it is called a "settlement" bonus which most likely means it is a signing bonus and your equity of sacrifice grievance "settlement". Thank you once again Mrs. King.   5. The retooling there mainly talking about has to be done for new models anyways. They have had tons of problems with the Fusion in Mexico and have been wanting to bring it here for awhile. Ford workers are getting jacked on this contract. Think about it not one time did the union and company break off talks. Not one time during this. Not one time was there any tension which again tells me the leverage we have we didn’t use. Again that’s why all INT members should be elected. Which makes me believe that the union went in and low-balled us or didn’t fight hard enough for more. All the UAW INT. cares about are adding members to pay dues that’s why they are happy with this. So they can add more uneducated garbage up there that’s not qualified to do the job clocking in and serving no purpose, but hey as long as its there friends and family and the members have no say WHO CARES RIGHT? WAKE UP! We should have got all of this plus more. $6000 signing ? GM got $5000. Don’t forget about the grievance that is not being talked about. Why? They want us to accept this crappy contract first. Don’t be surprised if we are not getting anything out of that grievance and they don’t want to tell us. Come on! They know. There is nothing in the contract that says ACH or TEMPS will become tier 2. This tier 2 is causing all this BS. Its got to go! So they will continue to screw them over instead of making them tier 2. Of course we want our skilled trades back to there job. Its about all for one and one for all. Look at the big picture. There are some good things, but we need to take care of everyone. How many of you have been lied to continuously and shafted? Now your going to sit here and tell me why I need to vote yes. These idiots don’t care about us they care about themselves and how they can hook there friends and family up while maintaining there gravy job. Look how Keatts pulled his son up to region with like 4 yrs seniority. We couldn’t find anyone more qualified? We could of, but no one else had a chance.     That is what I have been telling people for years at KTP. You need to elect people on a local level at all plants that have enough balls to go to the convention and put up for a vote to change our bylaws and allow an election on our so called IUAW leadership. Once again, I call to all hourly union auto workers, make them listen to you. Don't hope they will each and every time this shit comes around. Force them to negotiate and stand up for what the majority of us want. Better yet, we ought to do this and figure out a way to have people like Gettlefinger, King, etc. investigated. Have their financial dealing investigated. See if they really are doing what most of us think they are doing. You guys are criminals. I will throw a party the day either one of these happens. The teamsters vote for their leader. WTF. Why don't we? Because "they" won't allow it and they scare all your reps that attend the convention into never attempting to bring it up and if they do, they are blackballed and word gets back to their plant and they are badmouthed and whatdoyaknow...BAM, they don't get reelected. I have never run for election at my plant because I have never wanted to be part of the fucking good ole boy network, but I am thinking about it. You fuckers days are coming and we don't wanna see tears from ya when it does, we only wanna see footsteps. Your footsteps walking out the fucking door! You have let Ford take from us too long now and now you are doing it too (10% on profit sharing). Its coming, you better find a better hiding place for that dirty money. Revolution does not have to come in the form of violence. It can come in the form of an awakening and the desire for change from a far more intelligent group of people than you give credit to.

    Basically it boils down to this, it is not a good contract. It has some good things in it, but that doesn't make it good. Everyone one I know told the union we want our raises back, we want our COLA, we want 6 min, etc. No one said "could ya get us some investment, could ya get the 2nd tier guys some more money?" I'm not knocking anyone getting anything, I am saying that all of us who have been here giving back and giving back want some back. I've been at Ford for 18 years and I have been giving back for almost half of that and the union leadership has no problem with that as long as they gain membership and union dues. Wouldn't you have liked a $3.78/hr raise? Oh and last but not least.....go fuck yourself. lol

  8. im a YES. and im grateful everyday for my job at Fords, im earning a wage much higher than the average worker, I've got great health insurace that has saved my wifes life twice now, once from lung cancer and then from brain anyursims, I thank Ford and the UAW for my towncar and my F-150, For my beautiful home, my boat my Polaris rv and for my pension plan and my 401. I think you guys ougth to count your blessing and be happy with all you have, look around you at what the rest of the countrys going through, over 9% unemployment, I can't believe the hatred im hearing for a company and union who have made it possible for each of you to have what you do have, im sure glad I don't know any of you cause I would surely feel ashamed to call any of you, friends.

     

     

    Don't worry I wouldn't like you anyway company/union drone. I don't fraternize with feminine men. As for your benefits, the international "leadership" enjoys better benefits. Better pension that just so happens to not be reduced by the amount of social security they receive and provided that my info that i have been given, their health insurance is much more robust than yours with less out of pocket expenses. I can remember back about 8 years ago my local leadership, the chairman and 2 of the 3 members of the bargaining committee were all fortunate enough to be "buying" new super duty trucks decked to the nuts at the same time, which just by coincidence happened to be directly after the contracts were ratified by a 51% to 49% margin. But that is OK cause my buddy took a piss in the back floorboard of each one as an extra gift for their efforts. Don't be a drone.

What created the pieces that came together to make the big bang even if there were a big bang? There has to be some sort of creator. Even if it isn't the creator that our little minds think to be, something had to start it all. There just wasn't always a universe and everything in it wasn't just always there. If you look on Earth, everything is created by a process of events and materials. Bonuses are also only paid if certain performance levels are meet (negotiated at the beginning of the year). Depending on the persons salary level these may be personal goals and/or group goals. Also, for VPs and above, some of their bonus may be in stock or stock options which can not be sold for several years.

     

    Most (if not all) the the "white collar" that you see/interface with are much lower (probably SG7-LL6). I am retired, but I know there was a lot of talk about converting their "profit sharing" into more of a bonus which could only be collected if certain objectives were meet. So the company might make profit and group might not get anything if its objectives were not met, and vice versa.

     

    Personally, I think ALL top level executives in ALL US companies are overpaid (especially when compared to their overseas counterparts) as are professional athletes and movie/television actors.

    I am glad that I can be enlightened by such and old far....umm I mean old wizard like you. I was talking about their bonus compensation that they WILL be receiving for last year. It will be huge. As for anyone else who thinks that they deserve it, you are an unstable mind. There is no justification for ridiculous, inflated salaries and bonuses for the guys who cost more to employ (minus pay) than any hourly worker will be paid in compensation. i.e. company cars, company jets, fringe benefits, etc. I can only imagine how much it actually costs the company for Alan and Mark to work for it. Then you add the pay and bonuses and stock options. Especially when they add very little value if any to the products that we produce. Anybody can say yes or no. Why don't we try to put a monkey up there, pay him in bananas and see how much money we can save.

    20k salaried to 40k hourly? Is it me or is that 2:1 ratio seriously too high.

     

    Our profit sharing would have been much higher if Ford hadn't taken a $2.5 Billion hit in the fourth quarter, and especially if they would get rid of some of the dead weight salaried folks.

    I hear ya there. I was really expecting a much bigger check, actually was hoping to be around $8000-$10000, but as i am sure someone will comment, i am just glad to be getting something.

     

    As far as the 2:1 ratio, that is definitely to high. I am sure i could come up with some job cuts on the salary side if they wanted to shed some of that dead weight.

    They could start by eliminating all MPS positions. Make the superintendants and area managers do some of the leg work instead of sitting in meetings all day.
