Folks - i need some help here. I just purchased a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL (2000miles) with Dolby DAEP 5.1 Surround Sound technology and Sony DSP processing, 390 watts of power, and 12 high-quality premium speakers, including two sub woofers. I am VERY disappointed in the quality of the music in FM radio mode. This started occurring day 1 and continues to this day. When the audio system is on the AM/FM mode, the sound quality changes; It will go from sounding normal, to sounding like the bass is being turned up with no treble, and then all treble and no bass, back to normal. This only happens with the AM/FM setting. Using satellite, CD, or MP3 through SYNC sounds perfectly fine, so it doesn't appear to be the speakers. I have turned off the automatic speed-sound mechanism so I don't think it is that. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?
Thanks
