My info. says "in transit" via CSX with an ETA of 4/9. I have seen many with the in transit status waiting on their trucks for 6-8 weeks. Also, is their a # to contact CSX to find out about it, or should I just call Ford and keep getting the same answer? I am in a dilemma. I just sold my current truck/transportation. I have had no calls on it whatsoever in 3 wks and low & behold I got 4 yesterday all wanting to buy it. Unbelievable! It is sold as of this coming weekend and I will be w/o a vehicle. I guess that is a good thing in a way since I am getting what the truck is actually worth instead of trade in value. Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding finding any info. other than the standard "in transit". I need to know in transit to where & how long before it arrives. The ETA means nothing from my experience. Thanks in advance

Bump. Any update on VIN: 1FTFW1ET8BFB29119? Is it still showing as "in transit" at Ramp 5M in New Boston, MI, and an ETA of 4/9? Also, "in transit" means.......in transit to dealer??????? I read through all of your guidelines and FAQ's, but did not see that particular piece of info. Maybe I just missed it. Anyway, I sure do appreciate the assistance. Thanks again

Thanks, Spunky. Ordered 3/10 and built on 3/22. Current status according to FoMoCo is "In transit with an ETA of 4/9: Sitting on Ramp 5M in New Boston, MI as of 3/25. Tuxedo black too. Glad it has already been built if there is gonna be a paint shortage in that color due to the tsunami. Looks like there are quite a few folks that have been waiting on their vehicles sitting on this same ramp. Fingers crossed!

What did you end up ordering? I went ahead with the Lariat. Tuxedo black with black interior/flow through console. Almost got the Platinum, but just could not get used to that silver/chrome piece across the tailgate. The interior of the Platinum is sweet though. Add in the retractable running boards, and now I'm second guessing myself again, lol.

Good point and excellent idea. I have them on my four wheeler and they work great.

Wonder if they noticed the steering wheel was on the wrong side, LOL! Reminds me of a Honda Ridgeline.

From my understanding, the electronic locking rear differential in the new F150 only works in 4wd. If so, why not allow it to be used in 2wd. There are many occasions where 4wd is not needed. This would allow for people who do not own a 4wd, but have this feature to use it in 2wd.
