Hey Ford, How about adding a "true" keyless entry to your vehicles? I have a Toyota Prius (actually 2 of them) and all I have to do is walk up to the car with the fob in my pocket and touch the door handle and it unlocks. Once inside, I can start and drive the car while leaving the fob in my pocket. It is fantastic!! A few simple proximity sensors and this is quite simple to build. If I walk up to the car at night, the dome light comes. It is a very smart design.

You have hit the nail on the head here. The factory to dealer communication systems are antiquated. It's too bad they cannot used this new thing called the Internet...

This doesn't sound like a reputable dealer - you shouldn't pay anthing more than a small deposit until you take deliver of the vehicle.

Is the "plastic insert" liner no longer a factory option? I have always liked that better than the spray on ones because it is easier to slide things in and out.
