If Max tow wasn't ordered do you still get the 7 pin? I was trying to figure out what the Max tow package was and I am still not completely clear. Would someone mind explaining the difference in equipment? I know the max can tow 11,300 lbs, but that is about the extent of it.

We had an issue with freezing and the routine maintenance message the first day we had our new edge. I made sure the system was up to date and for the past 2 months we haven't had any issues. Maybe it just takes a few reboots of the system to function properly? With the XM/Sirius new channel lineup will there be a new Sync update? I know now that some of the channels cannot be found by name, but are still found only by number(If you know what the new number is!)

So far we are extremely impressed. It just so happened that we had rented an Edge during a trip and really enjoyed it. When it came time to get a new vehicle the Edge was at the top of our afford list. My wife would have preferred the Red Bordeaux limited, but I swayed her towards the Electric Blue sport. She seems to really enjoy the looks everyone gives when she drives by.

Hopefully someone else out there that did may be able to take a look. Thank you for your input.

Congratulations on your choice. My wife and I love out 2011 Ford Edge sport. We have just passed the 3500 mile mark and the gas mileage is way better than our old Tahoe. The MyTouch is slow to respond at times, but it soon comes around. We have only had a few issues as of yet and that was with the high beam switch burning out, and with a screw through the sidewall. The dealer took care of both issues for us. Replaced both rear tires (something to do with burning up the rear end if the tires aren't the same) and replaced the high beam switch. Enjoy your new ride! Wow, I guess I should have payed better attention to the date! Sorry to hear that you couldn't enjoy an edge. At least you are still in a Ford! Congrats on the explorer instead!

We just had the factory rear seat DVD's installed in our 2011 Edge. The wires going up to the DVD headrest goes through the seat but at the bottom comes out to go under the seat. This past weekend I had to fold the passenger seat flat and pulled on the headrest wire. Is this the proper way for this to run? or should the wire have been inside the seat bottom?
