  1. It doesn't make sense to me that you can get 3rd row Powerfold seats in a Limited, but not in the Sport. Seems like the Sport is the flagship of the Explorer line. But from an ordering perspective, it's an XLT 202A with extra stuff, just like the Limited. The Limited seems to offer more luxury options, most of which are now available in the Sport according to the August 1, 2012 Order Guide (minus Active Park Assist, HID lights, and rain sensing wipers). Did the engineers simply run out of wiring harness's or is this a major oversight?
  2. The 2013 Explorer Sport is part of Job 2, which will begin assembly on September 4, 2012 from what I've been told. They've been accepting orders since June, and there is a slightly newer order guide dated August 1 that has a few changes (such as power tilt/telescoping wheel and adjustable pedals). Best guess is delivery will occur end of September and/or early October.
  3. I don't get it. The upcoming 2013 Explorer Sport is the high end of the product line, yet with all the fancy stuff it seems that the Limited has a few extra luxury items that failed to carryover to the Sport. The most notable being the lack of a 3rd row power seat. Rain sensing wipers and Park Assist I don't care about. A few other color options would be nice (blue for example). If it wasn't for the bigger engine and suspension, I'd be happy enough ordering a "lower end" Limited instead.
