You should really learn history. We didn't enjoy 20 years of prosperity because of Reagan. We enjoyed at least 50 because of the UAW and all the changes that Walter Reuther promoted. Reagan started the class warfare against the poor and middle classes and that started our countries economic decline. Reagan caused at least two recessions, one under George HW Bush, which ensured he would lose to Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton, then went on to raise taxes on corporations and the extremely wealthy and we had 10 years of prosperity because of it! Then George W. Bush brought back Reagans policies and tanked our economy. I don't get where someone fucked up the country economically is seen as prosperity. But in rightwing world, anything is possible.
