  1. Thanks for the input. I'll definitely take racalzo's advice and not blame the dealership for variances. One thing that especially bothered me was the fact I was shown "all" of their available inventory. Then, as I drove away past their back-lot, I was pretty sure I saw a blue Escape. I just thought they might be holding back for some reason. That led me to check the online inventory, where it didn't list the blue one, but did list another one that I was not shown either (but thanks to timf I now know that "Dealer Ordered" means it wouldn't be there yet.) Perhaps the blue was one that was ordered by another customer and wasn't really in their inventory to sell? Regardless, I won't fret over it nor hold it against them.
  2. I'm wondering how accurate the inventory is when searching on the Ford.com site. I understand there will be some Escapes on order that have not arrived, and there would be a lag in removing those that have been recently sold. But in general, does the website reflect what the dealership has? Or is it possible that they could have some in stock or on order that are not showing? I like to do my homework before visiting a dealership, and recently visited one but their inventory (and planned deliveries) didn't match the Ford.com site. Has anyone had any experience or knowledge about this? If it's common then I'd give this dealership a break, otherwise I think I'll look elsewhere.
  3. End of 2nd paragraph of the Motortrend review: "Oh, and a hybrid version is coming, but not yet." It's probably an error as I've not heard this before, but it would be very sweet.
