  1. I am not having trouble with the dealer....they are as frustrated as I am....even the district rep can't answer why the truck is sitting in KY at the rail head.......not can the regional Customer Service Rep....Henry Ford ought to be turning flips in his grave the way things are going at the moment...and it isn't just me...

Side note....eveh the stock orders for 2015 SD's are not on the dealer lots in this area....they have them listed if yo usearch but when you ask about them, they say it hasn't arrived yet...

  2. I would have seen if there was a compression coupling union available for the size of the lines. cut them, put compression coupling in place and tighten them. I didn't like long runs of rubber hose and over time the hose tends to crack from weather.

they lines probably rubbed against each other and wore a hole in one or both

  3. K&N does sell oil filters with their name on them...but doubt they offer any HP/Torque gains. Hopefully would offer a higher level of filtration without impeeding the oil flow...might be more of a hipo type filiter similar to the Ford racing oil filter.

  4. Rumor has it that the current row Rangers would require too much updating to get it to pass safety in USA/Canada. They say you can buy the Ranger in Mexico now, but down you can import to USA....just what i hear....not sure any real truth to any of it

  5. The dealer's info hasn't changed in 3 weeks. Still shows the truck sitting at the rail yard in Shelbyville, KY. arrived there on 14 May....no update on the stutus nor can anyone at Ford tell the dealer or myself if it is there or why it is not shipped.

  6. Makes you wonder if there is a parameter in the SJB for this.

I would like to know if there isa programmable parameter for the number of blinks to change lane. 3 just doesn't seem to be enough. I would like to up it to 5 on the new 2015 I have odered.

  7. I sure hope it workd better an smoother than the way the cruise control drops down the gears as you go down hills...the first few times was wondering if the truck was going to blow...lol...wish it was the old coast on the gas cruise....

  8. The 2011 XLT didn't have the nav radio as an option, only higer end models...I didn't order Sirius/XM with the truck either....I was checking on eBay and found a guy selling radios for 2011 (not sure the same ones will work in 2012s)...this fellow sells the radio, amp (not the same amp for the bass unit), antenna(s), antenna harness, wiring harness, steering wheel control, right side (not always needed) and detailed instructions....I had to drill hole for the roof antenna since i didn't have the sirius option when i ordered the truck....the cost was $2000 (about the same cost if i could have ordered it from Ford installed)...all in all about a day to install and that was making sure i read instructions a few times and addding in the lock pick.....the installation does NOT affect the camera in the mirror...lock pic soes give you the option of a second cam if you want to buy the cable and cam....his name is Jim Hill and his email is jhill1004 at bellsouth.net, his eBay id is lothar551....he is very knowledgeable about the radios and installs....this radio doesn't add bluetooth nor sync....so hopefully you have that already...
