Has anyone seen the new explorer sport? Doesn't have the sho moniker but it's basically what your looking for 3.5l ecoboost awd. I checked it out on Ford's website and built one. It starts out at 40k and w/ options gets up to about 50. It only has 4 color options and has black trim and grille, unique 20" wheels and explorer written across the hood similar to the 13 flex. It also has some unique interior options. I have a 2013 flex w/ ecoboost been driving for little over a month now a loving every mile. It's funny how fast this nearly 5,000 pound tank gets moving!

Sounds nice. I was looking at a silver 2012 before I decided to order. It's the only other color I really liked but the 12 didn't have the 2nd row buckets and few other key options we couldn't live without. I'm glad to hear they are fixing the screen without a problem. I would hate to hear that you had to fight for it. This will be my first ford and I would hope that they and their dealers stand behind their products.

By the way what color and options did you get? Other than the cracked screen how do you like the car? We ordered a monochromatic deep impact blue limited w/ ecoboost. As for options we got the roof rails, tow package, second row buckets and inflatable seat belts.

It had better be a warranty fix! I ordered a new flex back in march and it should be here either this week or next. After dropping that much coin on a car they had better cover everything. I imagine though it was probably fractured either on the assembly line or in transit then completely cracked when you pushed it. Whatever the case that sucks and i can only imagine how frustrated you must be. I'll be sure to inspect mine thoroughly now. Let me know what the dealer says after you take it in.

Fordmantpw: Thanks. I'm glad to here you've had a great experience with the flex. It makes me comfortable in my decision to go with it. It's a big purchase for us and I've never owned a Ford. Hugh: I agree. I can't wait to see what it looks like in person. Shouldn't be long now; I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

Congratulations on the new truck and leaving GM. I've never been brand biased but after being burned by GM a few years back I swore them off for life. I too am new to Ford recently ordered a 2013 flex limited w/ ecoboost. The raptor is a sweet truck I'm sure your going to love it and all the power. What color did you get?

Thanks. It's a limited I went with the new deep impact blue monochromatic w/ black interior. They got rid of the titanium but you can now get the titanium appearance package on sel and limited models. I liked the wheels on the TAP but not the black roof. As for options my biggest thing was getting the ecoboost after that we chose 2nd row buckets, roof rails,, tow package and inflatable 2nd row seat belts. The new flex limited comes so loaded there wasn't much else except the adaptive cruise control and parking assist two things I can live without.
