    I do not understand why all dealers or at least most of them don't adhere to the type of communication structure and training you give to your managers!! You are to be congratulated, wish I had such a responsive dealer nearby ! As a side note I have a local small Ford dealer within 5 miles from were I now live, I previously lived in the Dallas-Ft worth area and was used to folks who are familiar with Hybrids ( I now have 2, an Accord and a Prius) Went to local dealer to drive a 2012 Fusion Hybrid, the Sales Manager said we don't stock them, they do not work with our type of driving (medium size town). Ok so I found a dealer 35 miles away who stocked the Hybrid and drove one, Came back to my local dealer and tried to order a 2013 Fusion Hybrid Titanium. They got my trade in info and said they would call the next day when salesman x was in---no call, I ordered from another other dealer. By the way the local Toyota and Hyundai dealers do a bang up Hybrid business!! Ford really needs to take these small dealers to task, They are missing a lot of sales.

    Jennifer Palsgrove (who works for Ford said on the http://www.Facebook.com/FordFusion site said "Okay I just got off the phone with the lighting manager & she said they did away with the touch sensor lights because of production & robust issues. She said they are hoping to perfect the technology & get it back into future models when it's right. About the lighted cup holders it might of just been a design thing. The Lincoln's won't have it either or the sensor lights because they aren't robust at this point." I don't understand the moon-roof buttons vs touch-pad, unless they were using both for a while, because there are plenty of job 2 fusions that have the touch pad, such as the job 2 I posted earlier with "Y" wheels that was built in February. There are also energis with touch-pads the change must have been after job 2. By the way what is a ''robust led cup holder" How long have LED lights been around?? They were on the 2012 Fusion and they are listed as an after market accessory and they are on many Ford models including the Explorer since 2012 . They are specifically listed under ambient lighting for the MKZ. I think that statement is marketing gobbdygook I would bet they are on the MKZ

    Your dealer should be able to let you know the build Week as soon as you have a vin, they go together. (My dealer says 2-3 weeks from build date to delivery is normal.) From the post above -- Just so you know there has very little "normal" going on with 2013 Fusions , don't count on your car till it is on the Train out of Mexico!!

    The audio system and all accessories drain the 12V battery,. The hybrid battery is only used for vehicle propulsion and starting the ICE.

    3-4 miles is exceptional, I get about 1 mile if i am lucky with my Prius!

    Agree, We need better information with out having to depend on dealers who have no clue and could care less.

    I think the folks that ordered from small or medium size dealers will have to wait longer. The allocation system favors the large metro dealers that sell a lot of hybrids, not fair, but that is the system, It would be interesting to see the dealer size (small-medium large) etc of the scheduled Hi Ti's.

    Here is hoping he is right! My coupon was in Vincent but according to the sales manager the car has to be built to apply the discount, it comes directly from Ford, even tho I have a Vin my car is scheduled for the week of March 18.. They spent over an Hour trying to get the discount but the system kept rejecting it.

    I just visited my dealer yesterday and saw a job 2 Titanium with "Y wheels" and it had a touch pad, so maybe it has something to do with the trim packages??

    The lock in did not work!!!!! Sales manager tried to print out an invoice thru Vincent showing my $750 private cash and the $500 rebate on the hybrid. The system would not allow this since the car has not been built even tho we have a vin. He will call Ford tomorrow to see if the $750 offer can be extended ( It expired 3-5-13 )because of all the delays in the HiTi

    The word is that Ford changes rebates each Quarter, so they are due to change April 1 before most of us receive our cars. If sales are any indication I can see the rebates and promotions going only one way--Down Fusion sales were up by 28% in Feb --set a record http://media.ford.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=37718 So I called my dealer he said as long as I have a VIN we could lock in my $750 cash in Vincent and $500 rebate. I am locking in this afternoon.

    If you have a VIN You can get your coupons locked in by your dealer.....
