Escape went to the dealer today for a small list of todos. Had TSB 13-2-1 on the list inaccurate DTE. I checked when wife came home and no quad screen. I thought this update was to give me one. If this is true I wonder what else they didn't do. Had 3 other TSB to be done TSB 12-12-12- 13-3-14 13-4-25. Had escape 13 mths. first trip to dealership.

noticed today rear hatch motor noisy when opening and closing. I don't drive the escape very often as it's the wifes. she came in and complained about it tonight. Just started today. Going to the dealer tomorrow for a small list. Just curious if anybody else has had this problem. LIve in Ontario temp 23F.

When I open the the front doors mine also turn red. then back to blue when I close them. SEL model

I ordered ceramic front brake pads today from parts source a Canadian parts supplier. Wagner ultra quite price of 82.00. Sad to have to put on proper brake pads on a vehicle that listed at 38;000 in Canada so you don't have to take your wheels off to clean them after driving it in the rain. Good job I can do it myself with no labour to pay.

I quess today is my day to bitch. Have had my escape 8 days today. Have 400 km (Canada) on it. Today I went out for a drive in the rain drove around the city going store to store with my wife. Got home after a couple hours and noticed my chrome wheels looked rather dirty. Upon closer inspection and rubing my fingers on the outside and inside my wheel I found BLACK BRAKE DUST. I don't understand why Ford wouldn't put ceramic pads on these vehicles when they put such nice wheels on them. We pay enough for these trucks so they cheap out just to piss us off? Going to take a couple of hours to clean these wheels. Calling dealer tommorow to bitch.

Anybody having trouble with the opening of the tailgate with the kicking motion. Mine only works once every 5 or 6 tries. I've ckecked where the sensor is located and kicked rite under it swept my foot under it makes no difference. Will open every time if I use the button under the handle or the fob. Sucks when people want to see it work as it does on TV and it dosn;t. I've worked on this for a week and still can't get it. Looks like a trip back to the dealer.

Problem fixed today. Heat control actuator for right side not hooked up. Only had to remove glove box to repair. The dealer gave me a nice bonus for my inconvince. Washed my truck and refilled my fuel which was at 1/2 full.

Picked up my new escape Saturday. On my way home after 1/2 hour driving we notice it geting hotter in the cabin. Climate control was set at 20 .C both sides. Put my hand over center dash vents . My side warm her side very hot. Have dual climate controls. Tried to set it cooler made no differance. Took it back to the dealer tonight and left it. Waited 9 weeks for it got to enjoy for 2 days. Big piss off. On the bright side very nice to drive love it.

I like the adapter. Where did you buy this. I,am from Canada but live very close to the american border.

Have any of Canadaian Escape owners purchased extended warranty. If so what did you pay. Picking my escape up Saturday. The dealer priced me at 5yrs 1500. 6yrs 2800. 7yrs. 3500. all plus tax. Seems awful expensive.

Cyberman. My 2013 escape sel arrived at the dealer this afternoon. Drove up after work to look at it and took it for a drive. So far from my first inspection and drive it is perfect. I thank you your help in tracking it till it arrived.
