I will also add to this post that The sync specialist at the dealer showed me his 2012 focus and demonstrated that it did the exact same thing as my car. So I had to walk away scratching my head in disbelief. I just can't buy their explanation. That is why I had to come here to find out if anyone else see's the same symptoms in their car. I would expect the dealer to remove the battery cable and or reset /reboot any fuses cpu's etc. I should not have to do this myself on a brand new car. Thanks, Ron.

I have a 2012 Focus sel. I recently parked my car at home and after about a half hour or so, I Went back to car and discovered the radio and MFT screen was on and some dash lights were also on with the car parked and off and locked! I brought the car back to dealer and they told me this was normal. REALLY? normal? They also said that sync performs updates during the night. I also discovered that you can turn the radio on and off with no key in. I have never known of any car in my life functioning like this without a key in and turned to the acc. position.Does anyone else have this "normal" condition in their Focus? Thanks, Ron.
