  1. Hey General, enjoy your job! I heard when Fields takes over he is personally going to give you a large DILDO(lube not included) for buying into the new way of doing business.
  2. I have very high standards for myself! This is about right vs. wrong. The UAW will never tell me who or what to vote for! I have integrity, and at the end of the day I keep my dignity by doing what I believe is right. Do you like what you see in the mirror, fantastic ford?
  3. Sharonville will never go on a 3 on-4 off schedule,that would make the majority of workers happy. Management,at the Sharonville plant, does not want its employees to be happy, EVER!!!!!!!!!! Employee morale is at an all time low. They practice "chaos management" at Sharonville. In other words: throw the SHIT and let it stick where it may! I know it could be worse? But, it could be a helluva lot better!
  4. There is nothing wrong with voting NO! Try it. You might like it? If you don't like the contract...... vote NO! p.s. If you don't like Obama, vote him out? Don't let Bob King or your local union reps. tell you who to vote for! Your dignity is worth something!
  5. I can't tell you the last time I voted "yes" for a contract. What a sad state of affairs the membership is facing. Now, and in the future.
  6. We just went to the AWS(all will suffer)at Sharonville. We were informed there would be no lunch break. 12 hours= no lunch. Is this the case at other plants(US)? Our Union reps are telling us that there is "no language" in the contract for lunch break. At Sharonville, the company does whatever they want. The Union says: "they can do that!"
  7. Hey General, you're missing the point about the pay! Your mentality is: "just be glad you have a job." Bullshit on that!!! All of us that work for Ford are glad we have a decent job! The UAW fought for equality across the board. The person standing next to you should be your equal. That means same pay, same benefits and same retirement. I've been with Ford for twenty years and can't believe how many people are drinking the "Kool-Aid." General, I think you drank the whole pitcher!
  8. Thanks to Bob King and our lousy International representation,we,as workers, are on our way towards the bottom. I believe the UAW is pushing the AWS down the company's throat. Less Union dues going in the coffer is the reason. No raise on the pension. No COLA. No pay increase. The "they can do that" mentality is enough to make me puke. What happened to the UAW I hired into? That UAW fought for the eight hour work day and premium pay on the weekend. Now we will be working for(pretty much)straight time on the weekend. Now the company will hire techs at $15.80/hr and force them to work next to another tech making $28/hr. These new techs will top out at $19/hr with no pension. I was just in Detroit the other day and saw Walter Ruther's name on numerous signs. Wherever he is buried, he is surely turning in his grave?
