  1. My X-Plan order automatically included the $500 public rebate with no hassle. I'll keep trying for the $750 coupon as well for MY14. There were no coupons when I checked 2 days ago. Same for any current Ford owner loyalty offers.
  2. Placed an order today for a MY14 HyTi (Deep Impact Blue with Soft Ceramic Interior). Fusion #2 for our family.
  3. It's Deja Vu All Over Again! After our MY2013 experience (Check the spreadsheet) we finally ended up with a fantastic HyTi. Turns out that when we compared other competing vehicles, there just wasn't any comparison out there. OK, so now that Papa has been driving the Ruby HyTI for around 3 months, Mama wants a Blue HyTi. Personally, I think she just wants to keep up with jeff_h and his wife. Ordered TODAY!

  7. Well, just wanted to report that we received a Brand New Fusion HyTi yesterday under the Maryland Lemon Law. Except for a small nick on the Main Display Screen which is being replaced on Thursday, all appears well. What a wild ride this has been. Check my signature for details.

By the way, Ruby Red 2013 Fusion Titanium 1:43 scale models (Metal) are available from www.3000toys.com - got one for the wife's desk. There's a few other colors also. It's an extravagance, but - hey.

  11. DEAD STOP - Those of you with new cars, heads up. My HyTi literally stopped moving and the electric parking brake came on at an exit ramp stop. Couldn't disengage the brake. Took 20 minutes to finally get it going (with brake light still on) and headed straight for the Ford Dealership Service Bay.   13. I decided to check on my VIN to ensure there were no open TSBs or Recalls, so I asked the Service Advisor at my Ford Dealer to run a report for me. It is called the OASIS Report and I thought that you might want to know it existed and actually see a copy.
  14. Just got back from picking up my HyTi at the dealers to deal with a few minor paint issues (corrected); however, I want to pass along something to you all. If you examine the area directly under the inside rear tail lights, you'll see a rectangular path that appears to be bad paint. It's not. The Body Shop told me that's how the mold is made for that part of the trunk. FYI. Secondly - The Sales Manager told me that as of now, Titaniums are ON HOLD Status. He didn't know why. Does anyone know the reason?
