  1. Hey Cyberdman, Just wondering if there is any update on my Fusion Hybrid: VIN#: 3FA6P0LU9DR100954 Many thanks for your help! Jeff
  2. Can you please provide me the status of the following 2013 Fusion Hybrid: VIN#: 3FA6P0LU9DR100954 Thank you, in advance, for your assistance Jeff
  3. Congrats on the new purchase. I think the key here is that you used the forums to actually look into what Ford is now offering. Seriously can you say that you would have spent this much time researching a Ford product 5 years ago? I think Ford has come a long long way. They've made their vehicles more reliable and they've also address major flaws as soon as they identify them. Customer service has gotten better and they are finally creating some very nice looking vehicles. With that said though, while I'm sure Ford wants your business, the fact that you even considered them is progress. Enjoy the new Honda, I hope it gives you years of trouble free driving

I agree that when you get to the level of the Lincoln the warranty should be better. My CTS with the custom order wood trim had a piece crack under the varnish and a year later it was covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. GM didn't say a thing - they just replaced it. I could see manufacturer try to nickle and dime on a cheaper vehicle but once you're spending 35+ on a car, then customer service matters quite a bit. Glad they did the right thing and fixed the issue. It's harder to gain and keep customers than it is to lose them. I think the Big Three are finally understanding that.
  5. Thanks for this video. Unfortunately it makes the wait even harder
  6. I'm looking forward to reading the reviews (hopefully I'll actually have mine by then and can come up with my own review). I'd be willing to bet though, in the first test it will come down to Honda Accord - much more refined, yada yada (especially from C&D) over the Fusion. Regardless, I have (2) 2010 Hybrids in the family and they've been fantastic cars. The only issue with them has been the front wheel bearings (on one of them) and a door handle. From a performance perspective though, these cars have delivered on the their promise and convinced the GM owner in me to punt and get a Ford. That means in the last 3 years, we will have gone from no fords in the family to a total of 5. Great Job here Ford! Keep it up.
  7. The Ford rep who has been driving around one of the pre-production models (was stopping by dealers in NJ showing off the car) said the whole idea behind the new key shape have the same lines as the car itself. I can kinda see that so I'll give them props for that
  8. OMG, really? Im sorry to hear that, that is just ridiculous. From a customer service point of view, Ford should really expedite another car for you. wow...
  9. First week of Oct was the official ship date of the vehicles from what I was told. I had the dealer put in my Fusion Hybrid order as soon as order bank went live (around 5/17/2012). They've received several Fusions but not a single hybrid. They keep saying toward the end of Oct for the Hybrids. The wait is a killer!
  10. While I like the "swooping down" panel it was a nightmare on the CTS because it narrowed the leg room out. After sitting in the new fusion, I don't seem to have as much of a problem but I'm not 6'3. I would say though it's a nice improvement over what I'm driving now (CTS) and a major panel facelift over the current 2010 Fusion.
  11. I had a two red cars and while they're nice I gotta say the white platinum looks great. I saw it at the NY auto show and it was amazing. I'm going white!
