I would say good for the company and not so well for the employees. If the teams are handled well by the leader pretty much every one is happy. If you get a leader that will help/let management give certain people or trades more work, they normally make more money. Then when the OT kicks in its ok for some trades to get OT but other people will be forced to work with the OT guys for straight time. I'm not sure if it was ever resolved but not all trades were included in the mechanical team concept. If your not included your expected to help on the team but your not invited for the pay raise.

Normally 2:30, it can very a little depending on production numbers needed.

I would guess they would call transfers if there were people laid off at other facilities or a reduction in work force needed.

Are the Livonia postings for production or trades?

I did get to see an overhead picture of some of the demo at Wixom, very disheartening. I do not know the lay out of the plant but the one building has outside walls left but most of the middle is gone. At Wayne they have contract electricians removing switches from sub stations. Not sure what this meen's if anything but you can't feed power with out them. Even removing some of the busses from the ceiling. The ASRS building was torn down over the summer along with the enamel and prime oven buildings, paint mix building, now the E coat oven and abatement equipment is being demo'd. The equipment in the old north body at Wayne is only for the Escape. There is extra room in the old WAP/ISA south body, they could move that equipment there if need be. MAP is really pressed for space so they have moved some of the kitting over to WAP to free up room.

Would like to know when they post FRAP for trades. Heard they were going to post soon, then heard may be not until January .
