Dont know which plant you're at but here at DTP they told them no but I heard at MAP they were told they do have the right to go back if they wanted too but who really know whats going to happen I would think that you should be able to go back if you wanted but we also know the games the union play as well

Don't know how true this is but a buddy of mine over at MAP was told that original Flat Rock people who went there when they lost the 2nd shift would be able to return to their home plant of they wanted too but here at DTP their being told no so I have no clue

Yes it's quite a few here at DTP that wants to return as well but I don't know if they were told yes or no I'm assuming they should be able to have first pick since its were they came from but we all know the UNION follows their own rules I hope things will work out for you to were you might be able to come to FRAP if enough people get to complaining some things may change I was trying to get a family in but it looks like they will probably only hire referrals from employees at the plant but if other people return to their home plant then maybe opportunities will open up at other plants good luck and thanks for the information

So if I'm understanding you correctly you want to go to flat rock but your being told that there will not be any postings for the production jobs at any other plants and that they are giving those positions to ONLY laid off Michigan workers, what about the workers who left Flat Rock when they lost a shift I know a few people who want to return to their home plant did they mention when they will begin to hire people? If you don't mind me asking what plant did they send you too and will they let you go to Flat Rock if your needed?

You have frap employees who might want to return to their home plant, they already gave their current employees referral slips back in September, I seen where they had it posted in a newspaper article that they will be giving applications to Michigan Works to hire some people but all you can do now is play the waiting game since they don't need those people until next year

Here at DTP quite a few people was hoping to go or return I see you at MAP have they posted anything for FRAP I figured it would be next yr for production postings if they were to put them up

When are the production postings suppose to be put up or have you heard any rumors I've seen some for skill trade and welders wondering if they will post for production or call back rights

I heard that ISA was hiring but I don't know how it's going and as far as MAP I thought everyone was made full time but its still former LTS That been with the plant when it was WAP that are still in the system and they didn't make full time yet I see MAP has a shady union but someone at FRAP told me that majority of those positions are being filled by employees who's plants are losing a shift and some on layoff so they will offer them those jobs first so they may only hire 200-300 new people and that they already received referrals a month ago but you hear so may many different stories I have a buddy at MAP I will have to ask and see

I'm not looking to leave I was looking to see who was hiring cause I have a family member in need of a job and they would be in the 2nd Tier category but I have been hearing a few of my co-workers stating that they were trying to go back to FRAP before they did bring in temps next year to fill those positions so what about ISA OR MAP are they hiring or have openings coming up

Hi I was wondering if any one knew of any plants that was hiring in Michigan either DTP, MAP, or ISA I know FRAP hiring but I hear thats not until next year in the spring or summer and I hear those jobs are locked by referrals or 1st Tier coming from other plants please serious posts only with valid information if its available my plant is to hush about whether they are or not I'm at DTP and hear 50000 million different rumors.
