    Tachometer

You essentially have just two slots in MyView, left and right, plus the ability to put avg fuel economy in the middle.

    Tachometer

You have to select in as part of MyView. (From memory) Go to the Displays page on the left-hand mfd. Scroll up or down to get to MyView. Go right to customize. Again, up or down until the tach shows up. OK. I tend to put the tachometer and engine temp gauge on the MyView page, since they aren't displayed anywhere else.
  3. My car was scheduled for a build week of Dec 3. It got built on Mon, and I think it was loaded onto a train car by the end of a week. Train took about a week to get down to Atlanta, then we crossed the weekend to get the car to the dealer and then to me. But if you're picking yours up in Michigan, I'd expect it to be a bit faster than that.

    Energi or Hybrid

Well, it's a balance of driving style that counts. I'm about to get 70+ mpg on this tank of gas with my Energi, that includes two weekend trips over 100 miles but also two weeks of daily commuting in EV mode. 70mpg is way better than anyone with the Hybrid can reach.
  5. Volvo is building a diesel hybrid in one of their wagon models, the V60, I was hoping it would come here. However, there's several problems with that idea: in the US, diesel fuel is a good bit more expensive than gas, plus a diesel engine costs a bit more than a gas engine. So people look at the up front costs and ignore the long-term efficiencies, and the vehicle doesn't sell. The other problem is technical. I think the biggest reason the C-Max Hybrid is underperforming the EPA right now is beause it's winter, and a cold engine isn't as efficient as a warm one. This effect is stronger is a diesel, which does it's best when it gets nice and hot inside. And when you run a diesel in a hybrid, the hybrid systems are keeping the engine from running constantly, which keeps it from getting hot.

    Energi or Hybrid

Well, if the motorhome has a 110v outlet onboard, tied to a generator, then you could just plug in while rolling. Even better if the motorhome itself was a hybrid, and could generate power for accessories off it's battery (which would be charged via regen).

    Energi or Hybrid

ab, I've got an Energi, and it works really well for people who have a daily short drive and can take advantage of the battery range. Otherwise, the Hybrid is your better choice. Yes, the heat works without the gas engine running, but it does consume energy from your battery which reduces your electric range. However, you can preheat the vehicle while it's plugged in, which the Hybrid can't do, so you have a warm car without losing any range. AC is the same as heat, it draws from the battery, but you can pre-cool your vehicle while plugged in. Performance in pure EV mode is surprisingly good, even though you theoretically have only about half your horsepower available. Acceleration from a stop is quite good due to the low-end torque of the electric motor, and top speed is 85. I have no problems keeping up with traffic in EV mode, even on steep hills.
