  1. I'm at about 3200 miles. I've been pretty consistent with 22MPG tanks. I use 93 octane and my drive is mostly city.
  2. http://www.ford.com/cars/fusion/specifications/capacities/ Fuel Capacity (gal.) 16.5 FWD/17.5 AWD/13.5 Hybrid
  3. I think road and wind noise is well isolated in my car, but I have been getting more and more interior rattles.
  4. Funny, I just filled up and had similar comments/questions! The FWD Fusions are supposed to have a 16.5 gallon tank. I am displeased that the car shows E after using 12.5 gallons. It's quite common for there to be a 2 gallon 'reserve' but 4 gallons is ridiculous. Also, the trip computer showed I had used 12.59 gallons when I filled up. To the first click, it only took 10.4 gallons! I waited 15 seconds and did it again and got 2 more gallons in there before the second click. I guess I'll just have to learn that I still have 4 gallons/~80 miles to go when my car says E.
  5. Well this is interesting! Ok apparently I haven't visited here often enough, just saw this already posted. But still, mine was built in September. http://www.autoblog....s-time-for-fau/ Vehicle Make / Model: Model Year(s): FORD / FUSION 2013 Manufacturer: Ford Motor Company Report Receipt Date: NOV 30, 2012 NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number: 12V553000 NHTSA Action Number: N/A Component: EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS Potential Number of Units Affected: 19,106 Summary: Ford is recalling certain model year 2013 Fusion vehicles, manufactured from February 3, 2012, through October 20, 2012, for failing to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." The affected vehicles may not have had the low beam headlamp projector coating properly cured during its manufacturing process. Consequence: An improperly cured projector coating will become hazy through operation, over time, reducing the brightness of the low-beam lamp. This may decrease driver visibility and increase the risk of a vehicle crash. Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will replace the headlamp assembly. The recall is expected to begin on December 10, 2012. Owners may contact Ford Motor Company Customer Relationship Center at 1-866-436-7332. Notes: Ford's recall campaign number is 12C27. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
  6. I've had my car for a few weeks now and a while back I noticed that the headlamps didn't seem perfectly clear. It's sort of like there is a haze on the inside. For these photos I cleaned the exterior with a microfiber cloth and invisible glass. First, I'm 100% certain this is not condensation. It looks like this whether it's been sunny and 80 or freezing cold and raining, and there are no visible signs of water inside. Second, as far as I can tell it does not seem to affect the performance of the headlights, just the appearance. And last, I did go to the dealership. They only had one on the lot and it was like mine, but that's only a total of 2 cars... not really much to satisfy my curiosity. They told me it was normal. Said it was due to the projector headlights (this is my first car with projectors). I tried doing a google image search but couldn't really find anything in support or against that. Since I found this place I figure I might as well ask you all. So, are yours like mine?
  7. I've had mine for a few weeks now and I love it. 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium Ruby Red w/ black leather Moonroof Active park assist Navigation 19" H-Spoke Dark stainless aluminum wheels Driver assist package Although I must say I wish I spent $2k on getting AWD instead of the electronic gadgets. So far I just don't find myself using the driver assist package much, and I haven't used active park assist once. Moonroof and the 19" wheels were a must though, and I'm glad I got those. Oh and I do have a slight problem with the passenger side sun visor rattling when I go over bumps. It's probably an easy fix but I haven't gotten around to it.
