Don't believe everything you read (ironic, right?). Word from folks that have received their gas Ti's is it ain't there from the factory. Haven't heard if the aftermarket accessory set does or does not include the cup holders as advertised. Anyone heard or seen? It appears the marketing and production folks aren't yet on the same page.

Raised elsewhere but perhaps there is sufficient difference between the S/SE hybrid and the Ti (push button start) to require additional quality control or software adjustment? Or perhaps there is a commodities constraint given the shared platform and the glut of product they had collecting dust in lots in Mexico? Whatever the delay ... I'll take it over a troubled car.

Sucks ... but at least you can console yourself with the likely good fleet price you secured. Hope it arrives soon.

Definately made sense for you to opt for the SE then ... Plus you have the Dune interior you could not get in the Ti trim.

News to me ... been around through that time and must have missed that official rumor. Happy I did - as it would have only added to my disappointment at the delay.

Yea - that is what they told me too ... two months ago. I can't see how given the speed of their rail car delivery system, My money is on April.

As I understand it ... the Jan 7 date was the date to begin scheduling and not production - with production likely to start in Feb. Now that is delayed about a month. Not the worse news. Hope it comes to pass. Dum spiro spero.

Yea - there is an 800 to call - saw a thread or post on one of these forums ... will likely turn up if you use the search. Some folks were calling twice a day and following their car in.

Gas, hybrid or PHEV? Answers differ by type.

So it seems ... Ford ain't talking. You, me and any other folks who have ordered or are interested in the car clearly don't deserve to know. But Ford is apparently now scheduling Energi's and not hybrid Ti's. The rumors for the Ti hybrid production dates run the gamut from "soon" from marketing mouthpieces, to the oft repeated "early 2013" to 6-9 months to who the heck knows - maybe never. My dealer reports (and other folks' dealers are reportedly saying as well) that Ford is no longer accepting any orders for the hybrid Ti trim. This doesn't inspire much confidence that it will be "soon", does it? Maybe they hope to move the shitload of hybrid SE's they initially botched and then let sit languishing in various lots (aka "TBD hell") or it is due to limited supplier chain for the shared components/chassis or the need to get a foothold in the PHEV market. Alas - the pitfalls of ordering and not buying off the lot.

Hmmm ... didn't realize there was such a difference. And I am more partial to the SE interior and wheel options. And I was gonna nix the spoiler. I do still dig the Sony radio, push button start, intelligent access, ambient lighting.... Choices - choices. My pang of anger and frustrated seems to have abated some. I will keep waiting a few more weeks to see if the Ti hybrids start getting scheduled. As you and many others know - a similarly equipped SE is a damn fine car.

Thinking of bailing on the Ti trim as well ... given how Ford keeps stringing this along. Mayhaps I'll branch out again to other makes and models. Underwhelmed with Ford's roll put and communication ....

Thought about the Energi ... but it is too rich for my blood. And, to be honest, not crazy with farting around with the plug and retrofitting my garage. Will wait out the Hybrid Ti for a while further ... then either down to a comparably equipped SE or back into the market. Who knew it would be so challenging for Ford to produce a hybrid Ti ... given they announced this trim offering ~4 months ago while already producing the hybrid and Ti trim gas versions.

Mine was too until Cyberdman and my dealer shot it down. Appears scheduling/ production is TBD for the Fusion hybrid Ti. I still thing the Ti is worth waiting for over a approximated SE trim.
