That would be a nice feature. Also for ford to offer tours that show vehicles being built. Porsche has tours in Germany and people are amazed buy it. I went to the Mahwah new jersey plant when I was a kid with my father who worked for dealership. He had a car on order but it got built just a little later.

I miss the light in the glovebox. I had a 08 taurus limited at 32k and no light. With the battery saver feature now there should n't be anymore dead batteries like there used to be. Turning on dome lights is a hassle at night while driving for someone else to get something out of it. The dome spot keeps the light high in the cabin where the light in the box won't glare the windshield.

I had the dealer do the sealant on my focus 1 yr ago. seagull got me and It went unnoticed for about a week as I usually wash it on the weekends. I soaked it with a wet rag several times trying to soften which worked really well. But the stain was there anyway. Seems like it discolored the paint. Made it darker. I'm gonna stay with the old carnuba.

I was just on the sync my ride site to download the update and read a few posts in the community section and there are a lot of complaints with the new update. I have the turn by turn in the focus now and like it except for the hassle of the it recognizing what I'm saying every once in a while. I'd say it happens 1 out of 6 times. I don't have a smart phone but it is bluetooth. I like it telling me the upcoming turns and distance. So needless to say I'm hesitant to do the upgrade to the 3.5.1. You just have to renew every year whether or not its still in the 3 yrs initially offered.

Ford closed up 2 ford dealers and 1 lincoln mercury near me. So shopping is a little tight. But it seems the wait never changes. I gave up after 2 mos back in 72 and bought a car on showroom floor. This is my 3rd "ordered" car and will be my last. Any others will be off the lot. With so few dealerships I tend to worry about service.
