  1. 100 employees to put a web based automated system which ties into a database of information that already exists? How about a development team of 2 people working for 40 hours. Ask me how I know.
  2. Greetings, Looking for some info on the current location or status of the following 2013 F150. 1FTFW1EF8DFC07864 I appreciate your willingness to assist, and am thanking you in advance.
  3. I noticed that Horizon Parts online has the Ford bi-directional, I think it was model 200, for about $250. It required the hood switch, but it is plug and play, and if you need dealer to configure it you can prob do it for an hour labor. It also has the ability to heat/cool the seats and set the interior temperature based on climate sensors.
  4. Tracking should be the easiest thing. Look on the window sticker and you see barcodes and qr codes. Open it up and look at some parts with the qr on it. Obviously Ford, like others, employ tracking for their benefit, so it isn't very hard to provide a web interface for that to customers. I have to think there are other reasons, which wouldn't make sense to us, why they don't do that. I think the dealers would need to get together and demand this gets implemented as a means of reducing the amount of time they have to spend tracking orders for customers.
  5. Does it seem odd that I ordered 5-6 weeks ago and still can't print the window sticker? People have to register on the Sync site nowadays right? How about let us register once and for all with Ford in general, and that not only would cover sync, but allow us to track our own vehicle order and build status via a web page.
