  1. Could you please post an update on VIN 3FA6P0RU1DR386189. Should be somewhere in shipping. Thanks
  2. And mine arrived today. Perfect match. Unfortunately, I'm out of town through the weekend, so it'll have to wait to get installed.
  3. I got an email from Visual Garage that my shark fin antenna is in the mail, so if anybody is interested, they are shipping again.
  4. As soon as somebody posts an order. I'll start a new page on your spreadsheet. URLs below.
  5. Me too, and IMHO it really cuts down on the fingerprints. Not perfect, but a big improvement nonetheless.
  6. So I ran the reset from Outofmytouch.com and now the HD locks in right away. I don't THINK the two are related, but it's a heck of a coincidence. Same station, no problems on either the commute in or out. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
  7. Never mind. I found the link. I was just being lazy. For those interested, check out: http://www.fordfusionenergiforum.com/topic/887-sync-performing-scheduled-maintenance http://fordfusionhybridforum.com/topic/6474-how-to-reset-myford-touch-wout-losing-your-presets and http://outofmytouch.com/reboot.html
  8. Yes, I'm having the same issue on my 13 FFH TI NRG. I tune my local HD all news station and the HD has a very hard time acquiring. When I first got the car, it worked perfectly, but now, 4 weeks later, the HD repeatedly tries to acquire, and sometimes does, but then can lose and perhaps re-aquire again. This is not a fringe signal and does not coorelate to running under bridges or any other topograhpical feature that may obscure the signal. Even worse, yesterday, Sync locked up completely. I had the radio on, tried to select a destination on navigation ahd Sync froze. The radio stayed on and Sync would not respond to any button presses or activate voice control. I pulled over and stopped the car. The radio did not shut off when I opened the door!. Totally frozen. I was heading for an appointment so I continued on with everything locked up and in a few minutes, the Sync logo appeared along with a notification that the system was performing scheduled maintenance with a progress bar. When the maintenance completed, everything returned to normal (still hard acquiring HD) but I could not activate voice control. Voice control now intermittently fails to respond to the button on the steering wheel. I have to turn off the radio to get the voice control to respond to the button press. I have yet to try a master reset. Could somebody post a link? Thanks
  9. Just out of curiosity, you HAVE activated the surround sound in the audio controls, right? The surround button is pretty well hidden and it tends to reset itself to plain ol' stereo when yoiu turn off the car. I'm not saying that the sound quality is wonderful, but the surround DSP setting does provide a marked improvement. It took me a couple of days to find it on my FFH TI NRG.
  10. No. You are not alone. Once I applied the NuShield AAA screen protector (that hides the fingerprints), I prefer the Fusion's haptic touch screen to my wife's Lexus with the console mouse/joystick. I'm also pretty happy with the steering wheel and console buttons. And if I don't want to fiddle with the buttons, the voice response is better than the Lexus, as well.
  11. Yep, In VA $499 is the usual. Ted Britt is $589.50. Don't ask me why, it's like airline baggage fees. All you do is negotiate the price of the car down to compensate for the fee. Near as I can tell the only thing I got for my $589.50 is state inspection and whatever labor it took to fill out the forms to transfer my license plates from my old car to the Fusion. Pretty pricy. I always compare total prices excluding tax and tags. The total price includes dealer prep, transportation, and any incentives. I figure there's nothing you can do about taxes and tags except go to another state. I don't know what the deal is about buying in Maryland and titling the car in Virginia, I wouldn't surprise me if you had to pay taxes in each state.
  12. I gave her her first bath and mounted the Naval Postgraduate School Alumni license plate frames. I, too, would like to know what products and what sprayer you are using. I am using a Mr. Clean car wash hose attachment that includes a filtered spot free rinse. Mr. Clean doesn't make 'em any more, so as soon as I run out of detergent and filters, I'll be looking for something else. Your system looks great.
  13. sdoflow, I live in the DC metro area and you are going to have a hard time finding a base Titanium. Check out Apple Ford in Columbia. They had the biggest selection when I was shopping.
  14. That's only if you enter your zip code. From the ford.com Fusion page, you search local inventory and enter your zip code. Then when your local dealer page appears, there's a little link near the top that says Change Dealer. If you hit that, you can pick a dealer by name or just see 4 or 5 others near you. Then you can use their zip codes to expand your search even further. It's not easy but it works. If you know the area that you're willing to drive to to shop, just look up that zip code and enter that. I was able to search all the Ford dealers in the Virginia-Maryland area for my FFH NRG TI. I wound up ordering it to get the color I wanted because I wasn't willing to drive to Columbia Maryland to buy off the lot. You DO have to call first. They go fast. At least around here they do.
  15. I have a 2013 Energi and have never once popped the hood to see the engine. Not while I was shopping and not since I've taken delivery. I will eventually look under the hood when I go to wash and wax the car this weekend, but for all I know there's a couple of hamsters in a wheel making the thing go after 21 miles. I guess the point is that I am beyond big engines and with all the new technology, I can't work on the cars anymore, so now it's all about fuel economy.
  16. HyTi, Congrats on finally getting your car. I've been following your long, sad story on the forum while waiting for my delivery. You have the patience of a saint. When my car was delayed in Chicago for a mere four days, I was on the horn to my sales guy to let him know I was not happy. i don't know if that helped, but the car did arrive with only a minor delay. The reason why I called so quickly was due to your experience. Ford sends every buyer a customer satisfaction survey, I hope you hammered your dealer on his customer service. I've never heard of anyone being treated as badly as you. Ford corporate should have a long talk with the sales manager at that dealership. Once again, congratulations and I hope you enjoy your Fusion as much as I love mine.
  17. Maybe they need to add a flashing sign in the back of the car, "I am parallel parking, Stay back 50 feet." It comes on when you activate the parking assist.
  18. Wow! Big day. Two deliveries. I know two people who will be very busy this weekend. Congrats. Shaggy: Was your $750 coupon expired? I got mine in the mail about two months after I ordered the car and when I walked in with it, they took it, no questions asked. I did give my sales guy the heads up that it was coming. If you handed them an unexpired coupon and they refused it, I would not only call Ford, but also make sure it showed up in the dealership evaluation. The tracking spreadsheet has been updated to reflect the deliveries. Enjoy!
  19. I applied the NuShield Triple A™ - Antiglare-Antimicrobial film to my screen. It went on smoothly (and I'm all thumbs) without bubbles. So far, so good. It really helps hide the pawprints.
  20. Wow. I had no idea that was how the Active Park Assist worked. I'm glad I didn't get it.
  21. Hi Folks, As noted above, Malibu3105 is expecting his delivery in the next few days and would like some quality time with his new baby without having to mess with the order tracking spreadsheet. Therefore, I have volunteered to maintain the tracking spreadsheet for a while. Please continue to post updates to this forum as before and I'll try to keep up with the tradition. I know I enjoyed reading about other people's progress when I was waiting for my car and I hope others will enjoy it as well. Shaggy, I'm not sure we can actually update the spreadsheet until you drive home from the dealer, but whet the heck, we can make the rules as we go along. I'll mark you as delivered.
  22. Canadian, folks. Prices slightly higher. They've got one and two dollar coins up there.
  23. Well gang, you had better enjoy this color now. You won't see it next year. I love my new Fusion.
  24. I have a Bionic and Verizon just sent me a notice that I'm in zone for a Samsung S4 upgrade. I'd be interested to know what your experience has been with your upgrade. Does the S4 play well with Sync? Does the S4 support other Sync features not available to the Bionic? Thanks!
  25. Cyberdman, Thanks for helping me track my Fusion Energi across the US from Mexico. I picked it up last night and am in love. Here are the pictures as promised. Thanks again. -http
