  1. The $850 for my 2013 FFE TI arrived by FedEx today. Okay, so I don't think I'm getting 47 MPG, but I drive 17-20 (depending on route and office) miles to work every day where I plug in to the free L2 charger in the garage. I had to use some gas when it was freezing this winter, but most days I can get to work and back all electric. I have never reset my MPG display which is currently showing just under 150 MPG. My last fillup was on June 15. And today Ford sent me a check for $850. As they say, your mileage may vary, but I am a happy camper. And do you think I'll be telling my friends and co-workers about the check Ford sent me? You bet. Ford will probably make the $850 back in word of mouth advertising.
  2. I have a 2013 TI Energi and a 2011 RX450h. While the Ford is not a Lexus, the quality, fit and finish is acceptable and the telematics IHMO are superior in the Ford, even with the minor Sync annoyances. I like the Ford nav, voice commands, and HD backup camera better. The Lexus does not have the adaptive cruise. I will never buy another car without adaptive cruise control. The Lexus does not have the BLIS, so my wife, who is the primary Lexus driver, bought a little stickon mirror for the drivers rear view so you can see vehicles in your blind spot. The Lexus rides higher and has the HID headlights that I wished I could have included on the Energi. How do you usually use the car you tow behind your RV? If your typical usage pattern is to park the RV and use the car for short trips in a 25 mile radius, you won't be using much gas for the car trips. That might tip your decison in favor of the Ford. My office is 17 miles from my home and I charge at home and at the office. I haven't been to the gas station in over 2 months.
  3. I deleted the spoiler on my special order 2013 TI Energi for reasons 1 and 2. As it turns out, there's an extra benefit in that the trunk lid opens better without the extra weight of the spoiler. I really don't think I'll be driving fast enough to get an aerodynamic benefit from the spoiler. Maybe if I joined the NASCAR circuit....
  4. Here's another vote for the NuShield Triple A. Goes on easy and really does help hide fingerprints. I've had mine on for 6 months now. I've not had much of an issue with glare, so I went with the Triple A.
  5. ReadySetSmoke, If I have your VIN right, your sticker is posted at: http://fordlabels.webview.biz/webviewhybrid/WindowSticker.aspx?vin=3FA6P0D96ER245719
  6. You're gonna love it. Find yourself a warm place to play with all the toys and configure all the options. I went through the same long instructional session at the dealership when I picked up my Energi in May. It was one of the first PHEVs sold at Ted Britt and the salesman and I were learning together. I'm still finding new features and neat stuff after 6 months of daily driving. This forum helps a lot. I'm seeing more and more Fusions on the road around here. Welcome to to the club.
  7. Might as well add to the group here. I've noticed the musty smell in the summer when I was running the air conditioner. It hasn't really bothered me, but I haven't been running the air conditioner much in an attempt to conserve battery and extend mileage. Now that the weather has turned and I am running the heat from time to time, the condenser isn't a factor and I haven't noticed the smell at all. We'll see what happens next summer when the air conditioner is needed again.
  8. Yep. I'm having cut and paste issues. It looks like your sticker isn't available yet, but your VIN is in ETIS, so I think I've got the link right now.
  9. I changed the forum link to the first page of the forum. I really want people to go to the last page, but that keeps changing. The last page was 129 when I created the original link. Actually new users can go to any page of this forum to get the idea.
  10. Thanks for the updates gang, the spreadsheet has been updated with the new information so you can see how your tracking stacks up against others.
  11. All, I'm still maintaining the spreadsheet at the Google Docs link below, but now that Ford has improved delivery times, it looks like there isn't as much interest in tracking deliveries as there was when we were waiting 12 weeks or more. I've only been able to post partial information for five 2014 orders.
  12. Taylorjd. I'm still updating the spreadsheet, but I'm only getting partial information, so it's rather sketchy.
  13. My Fusion Energi and I went to the gas station today. We picked out a fine regular grade and I treated her to a full tank. I'm only posting this because trips to the gas station are such rare occurrences. It's only her second tank since she left the dealership in May. She seemed happy as we went home on battery.
  14. Yep, still tracking and congrats! You're the first one on the 2014 page. Good luck. And if you want to visit a 2013 while you're waiting, I work in Rosslyn.
