  1. The engine is just loud, especially around 35mph. Even the salespeople at the Ford dealership I went to had no idea what was causing the noise when they checked out the car for trade-in. I do not recall an ICE trracking on my 2010...is that something with the newer models?
  2. Looking for an update on my order for a 2013 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid. VIN: 3FA6P0LU3DR289357 Thank you for taking time out of your busy day.
  3. With my 2010 FFH I have been getting the oil changed about every 10k miles. I am at 102K now and I am just waiting for my 2013 to be built and delivered. My current vehicle is starting to be really loud, and I do not know if it was due to the infrequent oil changes or something else entirely.
  4. I'm just thinking like the Electronics Technician I am. We try minimize the number of wires going across hinges if we can to reduce the fatigue on the wire.
  5. The FFH I test drove had garage controls built in to the driver's side visor. Does anyone else think this is a bad idea? It just seems with the movement of the visor constantly, that it couldn't be good for the electronics involved. Any comments?
  6. I've driven my FFH in Florida a few times. I know I lose MPG when it gets over 90 degrees out there. I know it is important to keep the battery cool. I work with a lot of batteries and I know that the temperature can have an effect on the total voltage and charging currents.
  7. I have a 2010 Fusion Hybrid now with 102K miles on it. I noticed that the car does not like it really cold or really hot. If it is below 40 or above 90, the mpg just bottoms out. The last few days in the DC area have been warm, and I have raised my lifetime mpg back up 2mpg. I lost about 4mpg going into the winter this year.
  8. I was hoping that there were some improvements over the past three years. Being that I was over 41mpg average before the winter and at 37mpg average at the end of winter.
  9. The 32oz cup from 7-eleven or any large drink from most restraunts, and there are issues. Water bottles, coke bottles, no problem.
  10. My wife and I cannot put our drinks next to each other and the lids always come off as they rub against each other in my Fusion.
  11. Has anyone noticed if there are any major temperature effects to the efficiency of the 2013 Fusion Hybrid? I have a 2010 now and when it gets really cold or really hot the mpg just plumets.
  12. I am sure it has a lot to do with the experience of the driver, the road conditions, and how how it is. I have a 2010 Fusion Hybrid now, and now that the weather has gone up about 10-20 degrees from this winter, I have gained back 2mpg on my average. Waiting for my 2013 Hybrid to be delivered now.
