  1. Thanks for the pictures, I have not seen a Ti in the wild at night either. It looks like I/we have a little research to do if we want correct Ti lighting. If I had a way to get wiring diagrams for the Ti and SE I might be able to figure it out. Or, maybe the wiring in the car is different and it's impossible to do without major mods. If someone could help out regarding wiring diagrams it would be much appreciated. I've been all over the internet and can't come up with a site that has wiring diagrams to look at.
  2. I just checked JScullin's posted picture the inner lights are on also, on the, How to swap SE tail lights to Titanium... forum. I just may be a wire that needs clipping or changing to another pin. Can anyone can help with Ti and SE wiring diagrams?
  3. I have never seen a Ti in the wild at night. It's interesting that this is not the way the Ti operates, it must be something in the wiring. I know when I see the Mustang at night just the ring is lit up. So it's not a direct plug and play. This way it does throw a lot of light to the rear. Brake lights and turn signals still work okay.
  4. I did change all the lights, inner and outer. I didn't post any inner pictures because they are so easy to change. These, what I call halo lights are the night time driving lights, I just reached in and turned on the headlights. The center light on the outside and the brake light still function the same. The only change is the halo, and I might add it throws much more light to the rear, you'll be much more visible at night. The halo doesn't function during the day. Unless the lights are on due to rain or a dark day.
  5. Completed Ti Tail Light installation. Follow these instructions. http://www.blueovalforums.com/forums/index.php?/topic/54048-how-to-swap-se-tail-lights-for-titanium/&do=findComment&comment=861653 I took about one hour total for the swap, all four lights. Protect the paint, the lens assy. can get away from you. Pop off the grommet. And re-use it. Completed assembly. It really looks good at night, I didn't get a chance to take a night time photo. I also rebadged with the chrome on black gels. Hood, trunk, steering wheel and four wheels. Subtle change but effective.
  6. Completed Ti Tail Light installation. I took about one hour total for the swap. Real easy, again follow the excellent instructions in the first post.
  7. A four year old then asked, Daddy, why was one cow pushing the other cow across the road? NickF1011 had it correct, it's Russian.
  8. I ordered the NuShield Triple A and the Klear Screen travel wipes in individual packets. I wiped the screen down with the Klear Screen and dried it with the cloth supplied with the NuShield. I think you can use any LCD Screen Cleaner and good lint free cloth. I agree the Ford MFT cloth does leave blue specks behind. With the method I used the application was first time without bubbles or dust under the screen protector. You do need to get all the dust in the corners and along the bottom edge or it will migrate under the installation. Wet wipe is best if used first. After many days of use, fingerprints are almost non existent and not distracting like it was before the screen protector.
  9. http://youtu.be/2rSkqbMIgYU[quote name=Gremlin85" post="860648" timestamp="1372435860]Started my LED and HID Conversion. So far did the reverse lights, trunk light and license plate lights. I have something special for the puddle lights but for some reason I could not remove them. I got the first half out but the other side of the housing will not come out. I don't want to break it. Here is a YouTube video showing removal of the puddle light.
  10. After several days of use, I haven't even thought of taking the wiping cloth out to clean the screen.
  11. A funny thing happened on the way to the forum. Thanks for the info on the Ford Parts links. I did order from my dealer but was able to convince them to discount the lights 20%, so not to bad. I checked the lights at the dealer for cracks or scratches, we were talking, I checked the boxes for the correct part number which were okay. When I got home I got the inner backup lights replaced in 20 minutes. I started on the right side and lucky I did, before I removed the original I checked the new lens for sameness, guess what it was a LH. I got two different PN's on the boxes but the RH was packaged wrong. I'm happy I started the right side or there would be three correct and one incorrect. This way here it's at least symmetrical. The reason I mention this if anyone else wants to go this route check the PN's in the box before you start. Half way there. The new correct lens will come in next week, I'll just leave it this way until then. It's gonna look nice.
  12. Thats $900 if you can get a dealer discount of 30%. Retail price for these Ti lights is $1320.40. Although the swap is plug and play, you still have to pull away all the liners. These are Ford Parts. You'll need to get a Ti VIN # from the lot to give to the parts clerk, just to make sure the correct parts are ordered. Although these P/N's are correct you can't be to careful. See the first post for excellent directions on how to change out the tail lights. DS7Z-13405-B $228.15 DS7Z-13404-B $228.15 DS7Z-13404-D $423.87 DS7Z-13405-D $440.23 Total $1320.40
  13. Okay, the TSB 13-5-24 is done. On my drive home I drove through quiet streets with air and radio off, windows down. It was very quiet and seemed smoother (probably wishful thinking). No noise and I really tried to repeat the conditions I'm so used to hearing. I'll report back in a few weeks after getting some miles on the car.
  14. I thought maybe it was something like that, just wanted to prevent any disaster and understand what he was trying to tell us.
  15. Use masking tape to protect paint under each lens????? Please explain.
  16. Please let us know how the installation went. I saw a HiTi the other evening and liked the look of the halo tail lights, I'm thinking about the change myself. If you would post the part numbers it would be much appreciated. I found the P/N's on another thread, let us know if it's a plug and play. Thanks, gkinla
