Alot will depend on your driving. I had a 2011 Jeep Patriot that wore early in the rear, a 2009 AWD Fusion that wore out the rear earlier than expected. My 2017 2.0 AWD Escape SE has 32k km's on it and I am suspicious of early wear on the rear....haven't looked closely yet, but the common denominator? I drive hilly, twisty mountain roads...especially if you are an AWD model, the traction control will wear the rear brakes out early.
