    Hello Blue Oval Buddies, My wife drives a 2005 Ford Escape, we have a on going issue that started about a year ago. For no reason at all, the panic alarm goes off. It is so random, there is no pattern too it whatsoever. Day and night, cloudy or sunny, hot or cold. I did some research, and thought it might be the hood switch(a small push button, that was possibly shorting out) i tried bypassing it and thought that was it! It actually went a couple weeks without any problem. Then all the sudden it started its same ole' thing! I also thought it might be a battery problem. After more research, the alarm goes off when there is a sudden drop in battery voltage. Once again, for a week or two it was all good, then guess what happened? That mother @#%?/'*, went off again! HELP! Im ready to sell it, if i cant find the problem! It is really a great vehicle, with the exception of this panic thing. Any HELP, on this matter, is greatly appreciated! Steve L. 19yr.     Im sorry, i was not a part of the engine line at that time. I was in trim/final unit 13, then. FRAP, did something called a churn a while back. Basically, they let every employee pick a new area, if they desired. I have worked on cars since i've been able too drive. Thats why i chose the engine line. I know alot about engines, so i figured i can contribute. Unfortunately i dont know of your situation. I will ask around though.

    Hello everyone, Name is Steve, im a FRAP (Flat Rock Assembly Plant) employee. Been working for Ford Motor, since 1994. Im lucky too have been hired when i was. Proud to be a Ford worker and dedicated employee, who takes pride in his job! I do the final inspection on the Fusion engine/trans before it gets installed in the car. Its a privilege too have that job, i take it very serious!
