    Yes indeed! I really do like the color. It's a very nice blue. Trying to get the seat adjusted just right. That darn steering wheel adjustment lever is a pain in the butt to find the first time. So far after about 150miles my average MPG is flipping between 29 and 30, which is a good improvement over my Challenger.

    Don't make me second guess my choice of Deep Impact Blue. It's such a striking color.

    www.etis.ford.com says "Build Date: 17.08.2013" So hopefully it's travelling between there and here with an ETA of who knows. I'm not sure what the average travel time is between build date and at your dealership. Waiting is always the hardest part.

    My dealer ordered me a 2014 Fusion Titanium Hybrid because we were having such a difficult time finding one in the color I wanted, Deep Impact Blue. He ordered it in early July and I do have a VIN. The last thing he told me a few weeks ago was it was estimated to be here sometime during the week of 9/2. So I'm just hoping to hear back from him sometime this week with an update. Almost wish I'd noticed the Dark Side color earlier. We were originally just looking at 2013s so of course the Dark Side wasn't an option.

    I hadn't even really thought about spills in the trunk until I read this. It makes me think of my current car, a 2009 Dodge Challenger. It has the battery in the trunk, of course it's just a regular 12v battery, but still a spill of a gallon of milk in the trunk could easily cause a bit of a problem if it sloshed over to that side of the trunk and spilled down into the battery compartment. I'll try to remember to check back here to see if anyone has found some kind of more secure liner with lips around the edges to contain spills. Of course there's also the "cargo net" option as well right? I wonder how much that costs after market?

    Is there something you don't like about the stock trunk liner? When I looked in the trunk at my local dealer, the liner seemed kind of typical... standard thin cheap carpet type feeling etc. Or are you worried about spills soaking through and affecting the battery?
