  1. Okay-- So my leaky headliner has been resolved through the BBB Autoline arbitration. I will be driving around a brand new Ford Explorer soon enough.
  2. Okay folks- after they replaced the windshield they gave me the car back and said all was well. Next snow storm and it leaked! So I brought it back in, they replaced some seal, said it is definitely fixed. A week later, it snowed and it leaked again!!! So now it's back in the shop, and they promise to fix it. Just like they promised to fix it last time.
  3. Okay- so they replaced the seal on my windshield and they say it's fixed. When I went to pick the car up I noticed that the headliner where it meets the windshield is frayed and there is a large gap. I also noticed that there was a part of it that was indented. Long story short they fixed the indentation but then the shop foreman called me to say that they would try and get ford to approve a new headliner. And because he says it doesn't look a whole lot different than how they look new he told me I would just have to live with it, and then when I tried to ask a question he interrupted me and said, "can I finish?!" and then proceeded to talk to me rudely and with an attitude. Awesome.
  4. Hi folks. New to this forum, I joined because of this thread. I have a 2013 Titanium Escape that I've had for right at a year, and have always parked outside. Two weeks ago it started leaking. Wet headliner on the drivers side A-pillar. I do not have the sunroof- because I didn't want my roof to leak. the dealer has had it for a week, and tells me that they took the windshield off and resealed it and it shouldn't leak any longer. I have no word on what they plan to do with the headliner. I've also had problems with the alarm going off when I open the liftgate with the key in my pocket, and with My Ford Touch not starting when I start the vehicle. Oddly enough, I have the same problem of the rear "ecoboost" badge having peeling paint on it as "boppergee". Now that there is water intrusion in the car I'm worried about long term damage. They gave me a 5 year Premium Care ESP. I'm not satisfied with that, as it's only two years beyond my warranty. Rust, electrical problems, mold... lots of issues could come of this. Does anyone have any experience or advice??
