Thanks for the heads up, and I have asked for it. However its a bit dissapointing not being able to do it directly in Fords website, because two of tha min features for the vehicle are missing.

I've tried with the 2014 Transit Connect and theres no option to filter engines you only get 4 cyl, and both engines available for that vehicle are 4 cylinder, the 2.5 L 4 cyl duratec, and the optional 1.6 L 4cyl. Ecoboost. Also you can't filter between LWB or SWB.

I have no problem ordering one and waiting up to three months... But its seems that it'll take much longer.... Feels like I'm ordering a limited edition vehicle...

Thats what want to do but but the dealers I've talk to, want to push what they have on inventory... i thougtht it would be easier to order it..... Oh, and its no clear how lobg it'll take to arrive, they told me that aout 12 weeks

Which engine did you order in your Transit Connect? Did you received it allready?

I'm in the market for a new car and really like Ford's Transit Connect but its been hard to find with the specs I want. Much to my surprise, finding one with Ford's heavily promoted Ecoboost engine, has been frustrating. Maybe I'll find one within reasonable deistance and finally become a Ford owner.....

There should be a better way search dealers inventory on a national or regional basis. Also among one of the criteria in the search filter, the different engine options and body styles should be available to narrow the results.

Which engine did you ordered? I'm inclined to get the 1.6 ecoboost

I want to buy a 2014 Transit Connect wagon short wheel base (SWB) in Miami, but it has been frustrating. Seems like all were ordered with the 2.5L 4 cyl, and I want the 1.6L turbo engine. Also many have expensive luxury options, that I don't need in a work/family vehicle. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Jacob.
