I have a new 2021 F350 King Ranch on order which is Rapid Red and Stone. I have watched videos on the f150 line to get an idea how the trucks are assembled. I realized that an important step happens before the truck starts down the line. Does any one know how they do two tone paint now? Is the truck painted once and then put back through once the paint is ready? How do they get such perfect lines without masking tape. Does any video exist?

Has anyone been able to get into ETIS this weekend? Truck was supposedly built Sat and wanted to see if it now showed up in ETIS. Started with internal server error, progressed to system down for maintenance or oasis unavailable and now just a msg saying IT is working on it. Chewing on nails...

I tried that with the KR because I didn't want the moon roof, thought I had it figured out. I went in with my order guide and we walked through it putting the order together. Everything went in fine till we got to deployable running boards. The order guide looks like you can get them as part of a package ( KR Ultimate) or separately. The order system would no allow the separate order. I really didn't want the moonroof so my dealer says we can put the AMP boards on it after it arrives. He goes and gets the cost to include it in the order and it is as much as the Ultimate package. Because I was ordering the items in the Ultimate package separately it drove the cost even higher. It should come as no surprise my new truck will have a moonroof.

It will be interesting to see a Magma Red superduty. It might have been a choice if for some reason mine failed to get built. The attraction to Bronze Fire for me is it's many "faces ". It can go from a very brown to almost an Amber depending on light or complementary color like Fordmantpw's. With the removal of BF from the line up it means a 2017 BF superduty is a unique one year truck which is good with me.

It will be interesting to see how it looks on a superduty. I suspect in certain light it might look similar if they were not side by side. Bronze Fire can have many looks depending on the light and how it is paired sometimes being very brown. The caribou and Bronze fire play off each other really well but look different than a monotone BF . I think the Magma will look good but will have to wait and see. I like the fact that a 2017 truck in BF is a one year truck and readily identifiable. Fordmantpw when they two toned yours did you get the wheel well lips or is it from the style line down. Would love a picture.

I totally agree and that was a requisite since my 2015 platinum is Bronze Fire and I get all kinds of compliments. Heck people flag me at traffic lights and give me thumbs up. I went in to order a 2017 Platinum in Bronze Fire only to find out it wasn't available. New truck is 350 King Ranch Ultimate in monotone Bronze Fire which I think ought to be gorgeous. I doubt my 2015 will sit on the lot for long since it only has 34000 miles on it and stands out. My salesman told me Bronze Fire had not been a big seller even though when you saw one it really stood out. They sell a lot of black and white platinum's but the one KR they had was shadow black with caribou which I don't think I would have ordered but it is actually a really good look

Seeing that they have dropped Bronze Fire for the 2018 year I am really glad I ordered when I did. Thanks again for the support.

I am sure that is true but I am hoping my Unicorn is a lucky charm. Does anyone know what week of production they are allocating this week?
