Thanks cyberdman! At least it has made it to the west coast! My dealer has marked the truck as "hot" to try to expedite the delivery to the dealership. I appreciate your help. Photo to follow, pending receipt of the truck.

That's what it's looking like, YT! I'm screwed, and yes, I'm in Cali! Was hoping the standard PCM would work for me since the truck is a 1997 and exempt from the Cali smog requirements. I figured if I don't need to have it tested, who's gonna know? I guess there is more to it than that. You'd think with as many 7.3s that are still on the road, parts wouldn't be so hard to find. I'm going to end up dumping a perfectly good truck because of one part. Dealer is taking old truck upon delivery of the new 2015 I ordered. Wish I could keep both!

I have a 1997 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4 with a 7.3L Powerstroke. I love my truck. The "check engine" light came on one day and I immediately took it to the local dealer. The dealer determined that the PCM was bad and needed to be replaced. That was 3 months ago. They were unable to locate a replacement part and efforts to have my current PCM rebuilt were unsuccessful. I am back to square one. Does anyone have a source for PCMs on older trucks? Any help is appreciated! Oh, and so you know, this is a California qualified vehicle. I understand that this makes a difference. Thanks.

I would like to see a factory option for integrated LED lighting in the pickup truck bed. I have seen this offered on trucks made by one of the other (lesser) manufacturers and it is a nice feature. It would be great to have it available as a dealer add-on for those of us that have already purchased new trucks. Thanks!

Your rig sounds great! I have an F-250 on order that sounds very similar, right down to the ruby red color! I too, ordered the upfitter switches and I am interested in bed lighting as well. Have you found anything that looks good in the course of your research?

My dealer has been great, but I don't want to be a pest and patience is not my best quality! I also would prefer a way to check on my own, at my whim, without having to bother anyone else. Please consider a tracking website!

I do have my VIN. Dealer has been awesome, but I don't want to be a pest if I can try to keep tabs on my own. I was told that my truck build is starting, I believe "In-Plant" was the term he used. Do you have any status on yours?

Hello, I am a newbie to the forum, but not to Ford. I have a 1997 F-250 Crew Cab 4x4, 7.3L Powerstroke that I bought used in 2000. Even though I love my old truck, the time has come to move on. I currently have a new truck on order. I am very anxious to take delivery of my new 2015 F-250, SuperDuty, Crew Cab, Long Box 4x4!
