THE FIRST FORD DEALERSHIP COULD NOT FIND THE PROBLEM..checked rubber around rear door and said nothing found. the vibration-noise still there and frustrated! the 2nd Ford Dealership ( SILVERLAKES Mc Carthy Pretoria) find that a plastic cover underneath the left rear part of the car ( that cover or protects the onderstel of the vehicle) was loose and when the vehicle reaches a high speed it vibrates against the body of the car and sounded as if it is the door) they fasten the cover and ....the car drives like a dream, no irritating sound except for the general road/wind noise of the Ford.

thank you Arkiby for response. last night i sat at the back when car was driven and realized the noise was indeed audible around the whole of the backdoor frame towards the back of the boot area. so i think they must indeed take off the backdoor and check whether the door seals are intact. greetings from a sunny South Africa

i bought a Kuga 2Lt Dsci (used 9800km on odeometer) 2 weeks ago. whenever i reached 100 km or more on the open roads i hear a 'vibration, above normal wind noise' on the top portion of the back left passenger door/window. i took it to a dealer and they are not sure what is the cause... any similiar problems and suggestions?
