Has anyone ever bid on a job? And what do they ask for? Company seniority and... wait for it plant seniority. And when you look at a seniority list at your plant what does it show? That's right company seniority and plant seniority and etc. So why is it so surprising that liviona will have this. Nobody loses seniority. They just will two seniority dates. One that is recognized in liviona, and the other for the company. If they don't like it, don't go to liviona. No one every gets forced anywhere(in less you low seniority). Sorry

I think they can only post if a plant is hiring. And I don't see any plants hiring before the 22nd

according to national agreement vol.1 page 69. "seniority shall be computed from the date of hire into or TRANSFER into a plant." national agreement page 70 and 71 under transfer leveling seniority date last paragraph " except as specifically provided nothing in this subsection is intended to affect any seniority provisions of the agreement or local agreement including in multiplant locations."

That might be true, but all the people that are all ready there will not. All they are doing is implementing what the national contact says ALL LOCALS are in titled to.

84 is leveling. And national contact gives your local the right we are just choosing to use the rights given to us by that contract

Look at your national agreement vol.1 see what it says. No one is getting "forced" anywhere we always have options all we're saying is you choose Livonia you Come in with December 1st 2000 if not go to another plant. once again it's a choice

If as a local your entitled To implement plant seniority why wouldn't you?

Think of it as entry level seniority. keep your company seniority but your plant seniority has changed
