  1. So you think it's ok that GM'S tier 2 are getting a better deal then ours are??
  2. Their tier 2s got a better deal then what's being offered to ours..
  3. Spoken like a true Salaried worker..
  4. Exactly!!! Also how can GM end up with a better deal then what we're being offered??
  5. What?? Parts plants don't make assembly plant wages, since when?? They most certainly do as of right now make the same wages. STOP BEING GREEDY AND LOOK OUT FOR THEM AND VOTE NO. I guess you also think it's ok that tier 2s don't get offered health care when they retire? Equal days pay for an Equals day work means nothing to you.
  6. We as Union membership need to look out for our union brothers and sisters at Rawsonville, Sterling Axle and Woodhaven Stamping and VOTE NO on that alone..
  7. Very Well Said.. People need to put themselves in their (Rawsonville, Sterling Axle, Woodhaven Stamping) situation and would hope others would look out for them too. I don't see that harm in voting no on this contract proposal, look at how it benefited the members of fca.
  8. You say International fought hard to get the best tentative agreement the first time, really???? Then explain to those of us who don't like this contract how the members of fca voted down their first contract proposal and ended up with a better proposal the second time around??
  9. What's the harm in voting No on this contract, look at how voting down the first contract proposal benefited the members of fca.
  10. They want ALL trades gone, that's obvious. It's their way of eventually outsourcing ALL Skilled Trades.
  11. With that comment you must be management and not hourly. There's more to gain by voting No then by voting Yes. Look at how much a better deal the members of FCA got by voting down their first contract proposal.
  12. If you're a tier2 and vote yes on this contract u truly have shit for brains
  13. The difference in the tier 2 pay raises between FORD and GM should be enough reason for you to vote no. Think for a minute, if this contract didn't pass maybe that's one of the things FMC would change on their counter proposal, they might not but it's worth a shot.
  14. Google search GM contract highlights and you will see it clear as day in the "Highlights"
  15. GM tier 2s get their first raise upon the. ratification of their contract and another one on April 4th,2016 and another one on Sept. 19th,2016
  16. You are correct, it's for those who moved out of region. If you're a tier 2 before you vote yes you need to ask yourself why do GM tier 2s get 3 raises their first year and FMC's tier 2s don't.. This contract should be a No vote for you. Do you also realize that when you retire FMC doesn't offer you the option to get health insurance unlike legacy workers who are offered health insurance.. Vote No and see what FMC counters with, it paid off for the members of fca
  17. Instead of "bridging the gap" like the IUAW claimed they were going to they just created another tier... So much for listening to the members.
  18. Your Yes vote makes no sense,You never accept the first offer. it's the same as if you were buying a used car off of someone, You never give them their asking price. Vote no and see what they counter with, look at how voting no on the first contract proposal benefited the members of fca..
  19. Once again when was the last time the IUAW has authorized every local to strike?? We have more to gain by Voting No on the first contract proposal then we do by voting yes.
  20. I agree there's no guarantee but more than likely you will. And even if you don't the company would basically say accept our first offer or we will no longer bargain with you. The likely hood of going on strike is extremely slim, history has proven this. When was the last time the IUAW has authorized an all out strike,.
  21. For everyone whose bashing those who are saying their going to vote NO on this contract, I have a question for you. What's the downside of voting NO? If this contract didn't pass the first time around we as members only stand to possibly gain more on a counter proposal. A prime example of this, look at what was gained by the members of fca.
